From the sounds of the GP accoring to Tatame, the proposed tourney is looking like this. I'd rather just see Fedor/Silva + 'Reem/Werdum and the winners of that face off.
 
Tournaments to build talent are awesome...but you have to admit, the man who beats Fedor will take 8-10 months off after doing so and his first fight since the HISTORIC WIN could be against Sergei Kharitonov....that's funny.

interesting story about Mark Coleman getting screwed this week out of fight with Sapp at Dynamite..

coleman was in a pro wrestling match earlier this week and the winner was going on to fight bob sapp at dynamite. coleman was supposed win with a head lock but his opponent, Shinichi Suzukawa, refused to follow the script and started fighting for real. coleman said fuck that and left, so instead of coleman its the other guy fighting sapp at dynamite. heres a post from baroni from a forum about the fight...

Haven't read the whole thread, so I'm not sure how much info is out. But this was booked as a work, they called Mark at the last minute, and obviously, he needs the money. Because he hasn't been doing any real training, it was supposed to be a real short match, with Mark being told be was winning with his early UFC's neck crank.

But, they totally double crossed him. Knowing that he would gas out quickly, and not really be able to do anything about it, they wanted to use his name over there, to get this douchebag over by beating him. So, the Sumo guy didn't technically just go into business for himself, he followed the orders he was given. It's not like they told him to lose, and he went out and did this. He did what they wanted him to do, to go along with the script until Coleman started to gas, and then to take advantage of him.

And as you can see by the fact that he tried to finish him, and couldn't, despite Mark barely being able to stand, and STILL being taken down by Coleman's Zombie takedown/collapse, he is useless.

This is just another one of Inoki's typical idiotic plans, that he thought was going to draw huge attention, and turn this guy into a major star, and turn the industry around over there again.

Too bad Suzukawa is blacklisted from TV in Japan, because this could be easily be turned into a big money fight.

He has a decent chance, but I think Maeda is too technical for him. Mousasi has shown good hands in his previous K-1 bout with Musashi, but Maeda has an iron chin and I don't think he can outpoint him. He will need to tread the line between pressuring him and being wild and I feel that Mousasi will lean toward the latter and leave himself open for the right hand.
 
Special match rules have been released....
DREAM Special Rules (Aoki vs. Nagashima)

Round 1 is 3 minutes and fought under Kickboxing rules.
Round 2 is 5 minutes and fought under DREAM MMA rules.
Open-finger gloves (MMA gloves) will be used in both rounds.
60 second interval between rounds.
Vaseline is prohibited.
If the fight doesn’t end by submission or (T)KO during the 8 minutes it will be an automatic draw.

IGF Special Rules (Suzukawa vs. Sapp)

DREAM MMA rules but with no gloves.
Closed fist strikes are not allowed.
You can throw open palm hand strikes (with the bottom of your palm, no backhands).

Giving a K-1 striker MMA gloves under kickboxing rules is either ballsy or a big mistake. Aoki better get on that bicycle.
 
Aoki won't go near him round 1, then quickly sub him round 2.

The Sapp fight will be a work in some form or fashion. lol@the rules, PANCRASE NEVER DIE. What's next, rope breaks?
