I believe his point about it being "planned" was that Pittman came into the game to take a cheap shot on Stephenson....this type of person is called a goon. Artest's elbow was intentional, but it wasn't planned. Pittman was going to take a shot on Stephenson any way he could.....I don't think Artest's situation was anything like this.

Based on the fact that Stephenson and some of the Heat players (Juwon Howard) had been getting into it in between games. There was some history behind him gong out of his way to hit Stephenson..........it was obvious he targeted him.

Yeah, it "could" have been anyone on the Heat roster, but in reality (context) it was the guy that had been making the choke gesture towards LeBron James and who got into a verbal confrontation (and had to be seperated) from Juwan Howard. It was obvious he targeted him and it shouldn't take much to figure that out.

The whole original argument is ridiculous no doubt, but there is absolutely NO QUESTION Pittman wanted to put the bricks to Stephenson, and for good reason. Luckily for him the game was a blow out and they were able to get a scrubs in there to show Lance some respect. Hansbrough may have been targeted if he was scrub enough to be on the floor during that time, but probably not. Stephenson is a well known punk, im sure theres more then a few players in the league that would like to do the same to him. Hans is a good kid!
