The NBA is a joke because of its officiating, and this is yet another example of the refs choosing which rules to enforce and which rules to ignore. This ranks up there with the refs calling a 'celebration' penalty on Vanderbilt a couple years ago after they scored the apparent winning TD.

Its amazing to me that people have accepted the refs to be so bad, that a call like this is summed up as 'just another bad call'. LOL at Doug Collins during the broadcast..."He might have been going for the ball". Uh....Ernie Johnson's response was priceless. "So what would Miller have to do to get a flagrant foul call...have more teeth knocked out?"

Yeah, that call on Rondo was horrible. It was pretty obvious Rondo's only attempt was to prevent a layup. I understand hard fouls and a "playoff foul," but that wasn't even a foul and probably would have made Charles Oakley uncomfortable. Given the fact that Rondo pulled Noah back by his shoulders on a layup attempt early in the series should be a sign that this is what Rondo does.

The Celtics lost their hottest shooter for the rest of the game because of a horrendous call. Bulls still had a chance to make two free throws with their bad call.

Maybe the refs were giving a call back to Boston? They tend to do that, if they call a foul one way, later in the game they make sure to give the call back, trying to keep even on the calls. Unless your LeBron, Kobe, Pierce, that drive to the hoop to get calls.

If you're Chicago, and KG is out. Ray Allen is out. There is no REASON for the Celtics to be in this game. If you can't beat Big Baby, Rondo, and Pierce with your starting five, then why are you in the playoffs? Chicago should have walked away with this game, up four with a minute left and you let Boston back in it. Derrick Rose with the turnovers, rookie mistakes, whatever you want to call them. Chicago screwed themselves out of the win with their sloppy play. One foul call SHOULDN'T of made the difference when you could of walked away with the victory in regulation.

I never said the Bulls lost the game because of the no-call, I never said the Ray Allen "double foul" was a good call, and I never said the Bulls didn't deserve to lose the game. FYI.

LOL at 'forums', plural. I've only been banned from one forum (albeit many times).

Still don't know why you responded to my questioning the non-use of the flagrant foul rule in a pretty cut-and-dry situation with a complaint about the Ray Allen 'double-foul'. I wasn't making a "Bulls v. Celtics" type statement, more of a comment on the perception of the officiating.

I thought I said the NBA officiating is a joke? I guess I had to list every bad call I've ever seen in NBA history. OK, here we go...

Thats not a good excuse as to why he missed them. If Miller was in no condition to play like you are making him out to be then the Bulls should of replaced him regardless if Rivers could of chose who takes the shot.
