Last I checked when wide receivers had both hands on the ball with excess room to reach, it's a catch able ball and is considered a drop. I forgot that every single throw in the NFL has to hit WR's in the chest. Perfect throw? No. Catch able? Yes.
Tom Brady played great, whether any haters like to admit it or not. If Welker makes this one catch that he can easily make, coming back to Warner's point, Brady is GOAT!!! 4 rings!! and puts up 300 yards and 2 touchdowns (possibly 3 depending on that drive).
Half of you make no fucking sense. Eli's offense only put up 22 points against a MUCH worse defense (and one of those TD's was given to the Giants on purpose) and suddenly he's goat, while Tom Brady without his top target, while setting a Superbowl record for completions in a row that leads to 14 points, and playing a better defense gets 17 and it's a bad game and not getting it done. Both QB's played great games, and you have to look at the context not the final score to see that. The game final should have been 18-17 Giants, but that one extra point makes Eli unstoppable, apparently?
Godgers offense last year only put up 24 points, the year before Brees' unstoppable offense only put up 24 points, and the year before that Roethlisberger's offense only put up 20 points.
If you're thinking defenses in the Superbowl are going to bend over and give up 30+ points a game then have fun wishing for that when your team is in the Superbowl.
