a couple months back i lost all my ME1 saves. had 4 finished playthoughs and 3 other characters midway through. FML.

Gotta finish one playthough before then.

Also gotta finish at least one playthough of Dragon Age, Borderlands and Demon Souls before then too so they don't get completely shelved for eternity. And also organize the Offseason for the TGT which will consume 15 hours or so.

Busy 13 days coming up! Fuck sleep this weekend.....lol

That reminds me, I have to beat Mass Effect again. After I got a bigger hard drive i never beat the game again. FUUUUUUCK!

I had 1 finished play through where I made the decisions I personally would have made instead of going 100% good/evil. That'll be good enough. Plus I fucked Ashley.

Does anyone know if you end up doing another game with your previous character, does it overwrite the entire storyline from the previous play through, or does it get counted as a second play through and different story?

I am almost positive it counts as a 2nd one, but I couldn't tell you definitively because I only brought over a couple saves from my old hard drive.

I'm going through one more speed run before release to ensure Wrex lives and Ashley lives and is fucked.

Would like to know this too. I'm in playthrough 2 with my "good" character and I'm curious where the save file will draw from or if it will allow you to specify. I can't imagine the latter since for the most part you save over things. Seems like it would be a confusing thing to deal with.

I have decided not to go for all the achievement on the first one, not for a while anyways, just far too tedious even though I only have a few left.

What class does everyone plan on playing in their first playthrough? I definitely plan on going Soldier first. Combat is my favorite part of ME.

You do get a new storyline/morals save file with each play through.

My goal was to make the most interesting situation possible in the 2nd one, so I went with Rachni = alive and council = dead.
