Faros was pretty long. i enjoyed every part of it though. i want to complete all the sidequests, but the mako ruins that for me. i can live with the copyy and paste style layout of all the planets. but the ones that are very mountainous or hilly is what kills that for me. You have to spend so much time driving the mako and its just not a fun thing to do. if they were flat i would not care at all.

even still, i will end up checking every single planet. I have started using the wiki stricly for the map of the surface to find the goods that dont show up on the radar....no way i am searching those planets for all the hidden stuff :)

On the normandy crash site mission I did a dance with shepard around the crashed mako. I was so happy to see it no longer working.
 
so I picked it up yesterday at noon and if it wasn't for the fuckin madden draft last night I'd have called in sick again today and would still be playing.

the mako parts sucked. It made the side-quests a chore, unfortunately. Glad it's gone in ME2
 
I got the completionist achievement. I did a ton of side quests before hitting Illos. I hope ME2 has a lot more diversity in it's interiors. All of the side quest areas and bunkers looked identical.

I'm going Renegade because in Mass Effect it carried over all my renegade points. Besides its awesome being a bad ass.

On another note, they patched the game so you can download the Zaeed DLC and invade planet 7-11.

didn't watch the video but i'm playing as an adept.

it's wicked awesome IMO. running around whipping glowing blue balls of death at people while firing away with my automatic pistol.

in that general game trailer they showed for the game, with shepard and the two other guys fighting.....it literally is EXACTLY like that.

FUCK WORK I WANNA GO HOME :(
 
The only 2 things I don't like are the simplified leveling + equipment and the fact that they decided to start using ammo and try to make it sound more hi-tech is stupid to me.
