Now Fedor/Barnett is the best HW fight you can make

Mousasi is 1 of the best up and comers in the sport and is fighting a very skilled fighter in Babalu

Vitor has won 4 straight fights after a decision loss to Dan, even Dana is trying to sign him

No fight outside of the UFC will ever excite you because how can they be contenders if they dont fight in the UFC for a UFC belt?

No, Randy/Fedor would be good now or a few years ago, definitely. The problem is that Dana isn't going to let Randy go make Affliction a lot of money. He is going to make sure Randy wants to retire in the UFC. Dana is going to basically use Randy as a way to bump up the future faces of the division. He'll put him in fights against guys that Randy doesn't match up well against and by the time his contract is up, Randy will be a nearly 50 year old guy who would only be laughed at if he fought Fedor.

Randy is a great fighter, make no doubt about that, but to say he will be a draw in around 2 years is a stretch, especially if he gets beat in his last few fights in the UFC.

How is he going to do that if Randy only has one or two fights left and we already know his next matchup. So, after that Dana only has one opportunity left to do this. Randy will be 46 or 47 years old at that point, which for him I'm really not even going to hold against him. Randy has yet to look his age in the cage.

Sorry, but UFC 100 didn't even turn out to be a great event. The best fight was Belcher and Akiyama. It's all about the fights, not the production and Afflictions production is actually pretty good IMO. The only thing that needs to improve is the walk-ins, those could be done a little better.

Vitor/Jorge - Both top 10 MWs, Jorge is on a 9 fight win streak
Yvel/Buentello - Two very talented and exciting fighters. Who wouldn't want to see this matchup?
Gomi was once in that top 10 class, having him start the night off isn't bad at all

Besides UFC 100, please find me another UFC event where that much talent, top 10 talent was on display. Not to mention all of the great matches Affliction will be airing for free on HDNet as well.

The sad thing is, you just listed 9 guys no one really knows outside of hardcore MMA fans and all of those fights are being done in a ring, which a lot of fans do not care for, especially after being introduced to the sport when it is done in a cage.

I repeat, Affliction has great cards, but they are absolutely ruined with poor marketing and the use of a ring. I'd rather watch a TUF finale over a match between two highly skilled guys that I don't know and there are many, many fans who agree with me, especially if you put it in a ring instead of a cage.

I hope Affliction does well, but if they want to stay around, they are going to need to make some drastic changes.

Randy has 1 more fight left after UFC 102, which is a little over a month away. If he gets another this year, he will be set up to be 47 and potentially leaving the UFC with 3 straight losses (although I don't see him losing against Nog). He still has plenty of time to fall out of the top of the division.

Buentello just dismantled Baby Fedor, but I'm not saying he's great, just that the matchup is good and should make for an entertaining fight.

Vitor, yeah he's in there, talent wise he deserves to be. But, the MMA MW division isn't exactly stacked so...

Most of those cards match up well, except for the Fedor/Barnett fight. Even then the Penn/GSP fight was two #1 fighters.

Looks to me that on average I'm getting more for my money with Affliction

And, they put on fewer cards, and are going bankrupt. Strikeforce > Affliction.
