Yea, but then they actually did. Arguing with actual results is ignorant. And everybody knows it only matters what happens in the NCAA tournament. The high profile programs around the country like Duke, UNC, Kansas, UCONN, UCLA, Michigan St, Kentucky, aren't thumping their chests over how many conference championships they've won when the real argument is for national championships. UNC's Championship last year makes their loss to Boston College during the season absolutely irrelevant.
Yet I'm comparing Pitt with UNC, but you say because they beat Nova by 14, Pitt would be smashed by UNC. Team A beating Team B then losing to Team C doesn't mean Team C would own Team A.
I said it's all hypothetical in the beginning, but just because a team wins a NC doesn't mean they would crush any team.
