NCAA Basketball 09-10 Thread

Devan Downey was amazing as usual tonight. Great win for SC, it might've kept Darrin Horn his job for another year. He has 3 straight wins over UK.
 
I hope UNC doesn't get ranked. They shoot FT's horribly. Outside shooting is inconsistent. & the defensive rebounding is subpar. There's alot to be worked on before they can call themselves a top 25 team.
 
Kansas is one of the best teams in the nation. They really don't have a weakness. They should be a #1 seed in the tournament. With that said, I hope K-State kicks their ass on Saturday.

Its seeming like John Wall and Eric Bledsoe think its their team, when in reality PPat and Big Cuz are much more efficient scorers. Feed the big men the ball. Maybe PPat just needs the Cousins mentality, if you pass it to me im shooting I will never pass the ball back out of the post.

A John Calipari offense is a dribble drive offense and centers around guard penetration, so it essentially is Wall and Bledsoe's offense (team).
 
Greivis Vasquez and Landon Milbourne are one of the most underrated duos in the country. Neither has a ton of pro potential but at the college level they are incredibly efficient.

And they haven't run the DDM much this year. It's been awhile since I've seen a Cal team set so many screens. But with them facing so much zone, they've mostly been running zone offense.

I think this was a good loss for the team, because if anything it'll wake them up. Downey was killing them, but SC is a tough place to play for a young team. The Cats will be okay. IMO, when they're on they're the best team in the nation. Wall and Bledsoe are still only freshman, so as the season progresses they'll learn how to better make plays for their bigs.

Hoping to go to Texas A&M vs Okie State tonite....surprisngly, i havent gone to an OSU home game this season. Will prolly buy a 10 dollar regular admission ticket cuz i cant find any student tickets on sale :/
 
Okie State with a big win over Texas A&M. We playing real good basketball as of late. We got Mizzou on Saturday then host Texas on Monday. Beat Mizzou and we will have a lot of momentum heading into the Texas game. I havent been to a single OSU home game this semester but will not miss Texas when they come into town. Shit is gonna be live!

Vandy is very athletic and they tried to play zone vs him all game. He put 36 in them, that little guy is tough man.
