There is one legit big surprise in NCAA every night now it seems. UConn gets smashed by Cincy @ home then goes on the road and beats Nova. Some crazy ass shit going on in NCAA Ball, especially the Big East.

Collins played like shit, the big man didn't do too much, and Kansas was still a winner.

Some horrid officiating. Even the Jayhawk fans sitting behind me were embarrassed by some of the calls. I had zero rooting interest, and can say that TAMU got hosed pretty good on alot of calls.

Bill Self nearly coached away the game, sitting Aldrich for long stretches even though he wasnt in foul trouble. Seemed like whenever Aldrich got in a rythum, he was coming out of the game.

TAMU is a below .500 team without Donald Sloan. As Sloan goes, as do the Aggies. When he stopped hitting shots, TAMU didnt know where to go offensively.

All time record Reed Arena crowd tonight...record should fall again next week for the Texas game. Should be great, can't wait.

I'm wondering if 'Cuse and Nova's losses this weekend [and with a tough BE schedule to go still] has opened up the door for Duke to get a 1 seed in the tourney. I don't see anybody going into Duke and winning so I guess it all depends on the road form.

These last two days has also opened the BE bubble teams conversation again. Louisville and UCONN both added big time signature wins and are the sort of teams that they would love to invite to the tourney if they are still hanging around on the bubble come March

ACC stinks in general. They keep plugging on about how it's lacking heavy hitters but deep with good teams . I'd argue it's filled with mediocre teams

@ Miami

I only possibly see them losing to Maryland and maybe Miami [doubt it though]. You know Cuse/Nova will drop another game or two.

I think it's fair to think that Kansas and Kentucky will get a #1 seed unless something wierd happens

Duke might get a #1 seed, but I still think the top 4 teams in the Big East (at least ability wise) are much better than Duke. Give me a Syracuse, Villanova, W. Virginia, and G-Town before Duke. The Blue Devils play hard the entire game, but they just aren't all that strong physically.

ACC is not filled with mediocre teams, it's filled with underperforming below average teams. I hate the ACC this year, and I'm a Maryland fan. Definitely a down year.

If it were any other year in the ACC, no way Duke and Maryland are at the top. Both lack the big men needed to survive. The moment either team plays someone with a decent big man, they get dominated.

Just sayin... I mean a loss is a loss. We lost 3 games without Evan Turner, arguably the best player in the nation right now, but you don't see me making excuses.

I think what Argath was trying to say was that while your posting wasn't mediocre, you definitely underperformed, even when your usual below-average posting style is taken into account.

Yeah, and you still had 5 of the 7 guys on your roster that average 20 or more minutes a game playing... including your leading scorer who had a career high in points.

I could understand if this was some good team, but this is Indiana... 9-15 Indiana who is 3-9 in B10 conference play.

Ohio State, 20-6, 10-3, RPI of 30.

So yeah, the Big 10 still blows. First place team with an RPI of 30, now that's truly funny.

While Purdue isn't the #1 team. They're a half game behind OSU at 9-3. They have an RPI of 11. The Big 10 doesn't blow they're the third best conference. Nothing wrong with that.

And there's no way Pitt should ever lose to IU they just went 10.5 minutes without a field goal at home.

The funny part here is you being embarrassed about losing by double digits to Indiana and trying to turn this around to be about Ohio State (who beat Indiana by 25 and 17, BTW).

I have never contended that the B10 is a great conference, BTW.
