Stats came in BTW: Karon Abraham led RMU with 13, Russell Johnson added 10, and I think Gary Wallace had 12. Two freshmen and a junior led us in scoring tonight.

yea, its not much of a rivalry though when you win by 30 and the team your playing is 0-23 lol.

i think its a mix of that+ traveling through the snow storm/the pitt game emotions/half the team being from NY/NJ area... regardless, no excuses can be made for the start...


i agree about butler, he is the catalyst for the team and his shooting usually decides the game for WVU...

Meanwhile, in that time, teammate Demarcus Cousins has slapped up 6 consecutive double-doubles.

He should be the #1 pick IMO, not Wall. Though I don't know if you could go wrong with either.

Robert Morris 75, St. Francis (PA) 64

Don't let the score fool ya, it wasn't that close. I think the Red Flash had a 8-10 point run at the end of the game when we had our second team out there.

Anyways, some tidbits from the game:

- We lost power with 13 minutes to go in the first half, lol. It caused a 30-minute delay and when we finally got the lights to come on again, the scoreboard still wasn't working. So out came the volleyball-esque scoreboards where you had to flip the numbers. The shot clock and game clock were unharmed, but the buzzer wasn't working so we had to blow an air horn. Pretty funny.
- Dallas Green was the player of the game, and probably had his best effort of the season. He made numerous hustle plays and had some nice cuts to the basket. (12 points, 8 rebounds)
- The two freshmen studs we have starting at guard each had double-digit points. Karon Abraham had 14, while Velton Jones had 13. Senior Josiah Whitehead (who I have class with) was a nice spark off the bench with 10 points.
- Devin Sweetney is the only player worth noting on the Red Flash (who have black away uniforms for some weird reason). He had 20 points and nine boards and seemed like the only player that deserved to be on the same court as the Colonials.

Robert Morris jumps to 11-1 in conference and will travel to Pitt on Monday.
