Oh hey, I can dig this thread. I'm running a Grambling State dynasty on NCAA 06 right now. 5 seasons in, Heisman difficulty with sliders favoring me slightly, but I'm going to work with them now that my team is actually a damn good one. I'm playing about 4-5 games a season so I don't spend a whole week playing out one year.
And just for the record, I only recruit blacks (obviously). Unless it's a kicker or punter, then I just change their race.
2005:
- Put my team in the Sun Belt, taking the place of Middle Tennessee State (sorry Irish and Herm). Behind Grambling great Bruce Eugene, I went 3-9 with my only conference win over UL-Lafayette. Only solid players I had were Eugene, Brandon Landers (backup QB), DT Jonathan Favors and CB DeMichael Dizer.
- In-season recruiting brought me a five-star receiver named Rodney Hansbro and a five-star linebacker named Eric Monroe. Also brought in two three-star tight ends and a three-star quarterback, along with some random spots.
- Gained a HB transfer from FIU and a WR transfer from Texas in the off-season. The HB, Ben West, has two years remaining with me, while the WR, Tyrell Gatewood, has one.
- Ohio State won the NC over Florida, 34-31, in overtime.
2006:
- Improved by going 6-6 overall and 3-4 in conference play. Big win was over an overrated Florida State team in Tallahasee with Hansbro (99 speed :fap

going off for 11-261-3. Brandon Landers entered the season as my QB, but he got hurt midway through and I had to turn to the frosh Jonathan Jackson. He did a good job, but Landers is by far the more talented guy. Also, I accepted an invite to the WAC after this season, because the WAC believed Nevada's diversity numbers were not acceptable for the conference.
- Monroe and Hansbro each were All-Americans and were the best players on my team. Hansbro had 2 kick return TDs and 5 punt return TDs (eat my dick Devin Hester) and won the Best Returner Award.
- In-season recruiting brought me a five-star guard in Quinton Terrell, a four-star defensive tackle in Mark Jackson and a four-star free safety in Blake Barr. Picked up a lot of two-star corners during the off-season recruiting period.
- USC won the title over Texas (who had Vince Young stay for his senior year).
2007:
- Breakout season. I have talent in a lot of positions on the team and the WAC was a down conference. Went 9-4 and then upset Virginia Tech in the MPC Computers Bowl, 28-17. Didn't really play anyone tough OOC but I destroyed Louisiana Tech, 56-7, in a game where all my recruits were at. Landers, finally healthy, threw 48 touchdowns and was second-team All-American. Hansbro won the Returner Award again with 4 TD (1 KR, 3 PR) and my transfers were awesome with the FIU back rushing for over 1000 yards and the Texas receiver catching 16 TDs.
- Five-star receiver William Miller (99 speed :fap

, five-star center Dale Brigham and four-star tackle Don Marcus all were recruits in-season.
- USC went back-to-back, beating Georgia 45-19.
2008:
- Strange season because I finished third in the WAC with a 6-2 record and didn't get a bowl invite. Went 10-2 overall and destroyed LSU, 38-7, in Death Valley. I think Ryan Perrilloux threw 5 picks that game...couldn't get anything going. Hansbro won the Heisman, Maxwell, Biletnikoff and the Returner awards with a statline of 116-1741-25 and 2 punt return TDs. I actually swept most of the awards strangely, cause my FIU back won the walker after having 16 TDs and Monroe won the Bednarik and Butkus. Had two bad losses to Hawaii (cheesy ass quarterback) and Fresno State that cost me my bowl bid.
- Five-star receiver Elvis Franklin (no 99 speed, just a big 6'5" target) and five-star quarterback Kevin Harris were my big gets in recruiting. Also landed a three-star athlete in Brock Ford who was converted to QB and has 89 speed.
- Florida State won the title over Ohio State, 19-7.
- Hansbro, Monroe and the QB Jackson all thought about leaving for the draft, but I got Hansbro and Monroe to stay. Didn't really go after Jackson because he wasn't fun to play with and I had the five-star guy coming in.
2009:
- GIVE US A DAMN PLAYOFF! 13-0 in what was such an incredible team to play with. I laid the lumber on Maryland in the MPC Computers Bowl (no BCS bowl, wtf), 49-28, and took down teams like Pittsburgh (56-3) and Notre Dame (44-14) by large margins. Didn't have much of a running game but didn't need one with my talented receiving corps. Hansbro (99-1442-16), Miller (70-1015-11) and Franklin (53-993-13) were all nuts and I got to play both of my freshman quarterbacks in Harris and Ford because Harris got injured halfway through the season for a few weeks. Hansbro won his fourth straight Returner of Year award with 3 punt return scores.
- Best recruiting class by far (moved up to four or five-star prestige after this). Two five-star guards, a five-star tailback (giving me a running game again), seven four-stars and a few three-star guys. Now I need to get moved to a BCS conference in order to make the game more challenging.
- Oklahoma got revenge for '03 by beating LSU, 28-23, in the title game.
2010:
- Two games in right now and I'm 2-0. Beat a bad Florida Atlantic squad in the opener, then made a miraculous fourth-quarter comeback against #14 Tennessee. I benched Harris that game because he threw 3 picks in the first half, put in Ford and Ford dominated only missing on one pass. Don't know what I'm going to do about the QB situation yet but Harris somehow is still the Heisman leader somehow after that game. Elvis Franklin is absolute cheese at WR cause his big body allows me to just throw it up for him. Frosh RB is doing well too and giving me some balance on offense. Besides linebacker, my defense looks like it's the best one I've ever had, so undefeated again is a possibility. I'm ranked 15th now so maybe I can get into the title game if I go 12-0.
