I don't remember saying Freeman needs to produce another good season for me to accept he's a top 100 player. If I did, please provide quote because I don't want to have to sift through the trainwreck of this thread.

Either way, I WILL respond to you, simply because you've made the same mistake 6 times in a row. McFadden doesn't need another good season because his 2010 season was one of the top 100 in the NFL. Freeman's 2010 ten season was nice, but it wasn't one of the top 100.

Again, 1600 total yards rushing and receiving along with 10 TDs trumps 3800 yards passing and rushing along with 25 TDs? Im fucking done.

No, those were two different arguments. I asked if it was just based on last year, or if it was career-related. McFadden over Owens based on last year is a no-brainer, except, of course, to you. I think Freeman over Owens based on last year is also a no-brainer, FWIW.

Its funny, because I actually liked Freeman last year. I thought he'd be a bust when he was drafted, and he's really surprised me. He looked poised when I saw him play. I'm just not ready to say he's a top 100 player yet. If he has another 25 TD 6 INT year next season, then perhaps.

Also they aren't entirely stat based. They do provide a lot of stats other places don't at all. But their grades end up being the final saying on their terms. And they'd more often than not just compare their grades when comparing players than stats.

They are different though and not affiliated with the NFL. For that I think they will always receive a lot of criticism. When looking at who's better between players, raw stats never tell the whole story. On PFF you can look at more in depth stats, or just look at their grades. You can have either or.
