After last year, and seeing the way this team was today, the playoffs bring out the very best in this team. You can think your Rockies are going to beat us, but this Phillie team looks even more determined than last year.

I really hope they give Happ the start for game 3. I think Colorado fans remember what happened last time they faced him. I'll be glad to remind you guys anyway. He went 9 innings, allowing no runs and striking out 10. So I'd be fine with Hamels going tomorrow and then shutting them down with J.A.

Aaron Cook is 0-1 in the post season and is your big game pitcher? Wanna talk about big game pitcher, we'll throw in a guy who is 4-1 in the playoffs with a 2.16 ERA.

Aaron Cook had season ending injury halfway or so down the season in 2007, only to come back and pitch a pretty good game in Game four of the World Series. That was the only game in that series where the SP gave us a chance to win. I was at the that game and let me tell you he was very impressive considering the conditions.

I was hammered -- Got down there before noon and got home at 8 -- Lots of drinking before and after the game.

I watched the highlights and I can see myself on the Werth triple and Howard's opposite field shot that Gonzalez misplayed -- that was pretty cool

Thanks man. Should be a fun series the rest of the way. No way should anyone count the Rockies out. I'd hate to be tied 1-1 going into Denver and that cold weather. Anything can happen when snow is involved in a baseball game, lol.

I had tickets to tonights game and since it's been PPD I guess I have tickets to tomorrows game that starts at 8:07pm. They PPD the game today because it's suppose to be in the teens and more snow showers around 7:30pm local time.

A lot of people are really pissed off over here in Denver because now if you had to Game 4 on Sunday at 8pm you now have tickets to Monday's game at TBA. They won't announce at time until they find out what happens in the Yanks and Sox games. If the Yanks and Sox both push a game 4 then the Rockies play at 12:30 MT on Monday. If just one team goes to a game 4 then they will play at 8pm MT and if neither goes to game 4 then the game starts at 4pm or so on Monday.

Or so I hear.

I don't think the Rockies are as good as 2 years ago but they are definitely a good team. They went like 74-24 under Tracy, that's pretty sick.

Plus they're a great home team and the Phillies tend to struggle offensively in cold temperatures.

A slight benefit to the snow out is that we can throw Happ at em and Lee on full rest. Hopefully we can end it in COL but I'm really just looking for 1 win. I'm confident in Hamels if it comes to a Game 5 in Philly.

The Rockies weren't in that game last night, seriously. That strike zone was about 5 x 5 inches big. Happ shouldn't of been in trouble early... there was a situation where he threw a 2-2 pitch to Garret Atkins and it was right there, Atkins laid off and they called it a ball. Even the announcers were talking about how they thought it was a strikeout. Another situation where Todd Helton took a 3-2 pitch down the middle, thought he struck out and then was told he got walked. idk it was kind of ridiculous last night I don't think that guy will be doing much umpiring for the rest of the playoffs

give credit where credit is due. Too say that the Rockies are not a good team is unfathomable. They are in the playoffs...with you guys...and nearly overtook the NL West when the Dodgers looked like they had it sealed up in June. Like Nahste said, they've been playing great baseball lately. One Phillie fan said that. ONE. I'm pretty sure that Houtz is a Pirates fan.

Although I do think Hamels was likely distracted. He has looked shakey this year, but in that game he didn't seem capable of getting any rhythm.

Either way, I'm hoping that Lee ends it tonight and then they throw Hamels out there against the Dodgers. Still, I wouldn't be surprised if this went to 5.

All I know is, hurray for me being able to watch the game without having to listen at my desk secretly at work, or stay up until 2 in the fucking morning.
