You guys, he's still just a kid. Albeit a 240 pound senior in college. But this guy obviously isn't matured and isn't playing in the NFL. Some of these comments are insane. He didn't punch an old lady or kick a puppy, he punched some dude who (did he even play?) taunted him after a demoralizing loss. You'd be pissed too if you were a Heisman candidate and your offensive line blows so you get negative yards. Not to mention he talked shit beforehand so now he's even more embarrassed.

Once again, I don't condone his behavior. But take it easy guys, he's a college student, not a baby killer.

According to the Idaho Statesman, Byron Hout simply repeated the phrase uttered by LeGarrette Blount earlier in the week. Blount stated, "We owe them an A$% whoopin."

Hout allegedly said, "How'd you like that A$% whoopin?!"

The NFL supplemental draft is only conducted once a year - usually in June or July. Therefore, Blount's only options are to petition the NCAA for another season of eligibility or to enter next year's NFL draft. Regardless, now that he has been suspended for the season, it's hard to see a NFL team using a draft pick on. It's probably UDFA status for Blount.
