Ive learned that VSN is filled with Ethugs who dont care about the law. Blount assaulted a man, taunting is not illegal. Sucker punching anyone just proves to me that he has a pussy or no morals.

Carmelo Blount sucker punched a man with no helmet, then backpedals better than Deion Sanders in coverage..... what a waste of talent.



I would have no problem if Blount told that guy something like "meet me in the hallway". Hey if you want to fight do it oldschool like a man, under no circumstances do you sucker punch someone and then run like a girl.

I would think tby their actions and holding back Blount and even getting in his face letting him know whhy the hell did you start crap, showed they obviously didn't agree with Blount's inexecusable behavior. Come on he was about to throw down with his own player.

I wanted to just comment how it didn;t escalte and trickle down from either team. Both teams did a good job of not letting that get out of hand. I saw visions of Hawaii-Cincy, and Hawaii-Houston, Miami-Florida Internatiional which could have easily happaned.

So I was commenting on giving props to both teams, for not letting a player saying someething to another, and another going awol, to make this thing get really out of hand.

They did the smart thing , what other option did they have? If he goes into the crowd and throws a punch or punches another Boise player then how bad does that look for Oregon? It already looks bad enough without him adding more onto it .

They were protecting the team and programs rep more than anything by holding him back .

I guess you could applaud them for doing the smart thing .... some players in such a heated situation wouldn't have done the same I'm willing to bet.

It's not like any Boise players threw punches back

3. Blount could dish it out...but he sure couldn't take it. He cold cocked a defenseless player after they dish a little trash talk his way.

4. His teammate tries to hold him back, and Blount almost gets in a fight with that dude. His teammates face was pricless when Blount pushed him away. He was like, "Dude...what the fuck?"

5. Blount tries to attack the fans who continue the trash talking.

6. Blount had to be DRAGGED off the field by security.

One game suspension my fucking ass. He deserves either a one year suspension, or to be kicked off the team entirely.

EXTREME hypothetical here.... I dont know of another case like this. If he were to get kicked out of school can the NFL teams spend a supplemental draft pick on him or is the supplemental draft only performed before the season starts? Forgive my lack of knowledge on the subject, i know there was a Supplemental Draft where Jeremy Jarmon was picked by the Redskins. I dont know if its an ongoing thing or it only happens once per year.

You guys, he's still just a kid. Albeit a 240 pound senior in college. But this guy obviously isn't matured and isn't playing in the NFL. Some of these comments are insane. He didn't punch an old lady or kick a puppy, he punched some dude who (did he even play?) taunted him after a demoralizing loss. You'd be pissed too if you were a Heisman candidate and your offensive line blows so you get negative yards. Not to mention he talked shit beforehand so now he's even more embarrassed.

Once again, I don't condone his behavior. But take it easy guys, he's a college student, not a baby killer.
