It should be fun to play against the higher ranked top 25 teams. I purposely threw in a 3 game stretch all against top 25 teams to see how good i really was. because i have a 3-6 all-time record against top 25 teams, and i wanna see if i can move that to 5-7 or even 6-6. should scoot me up the top 25 rankings.

Smell Roses? Indiana Predicted to Finish 2nd in Big 10

Chicago, IL - The 2011-2012 College Football Preseason officially began today, as the preseason polls and season predictions were announced. And as expected, Sporting News magazine recently released its famous predictions. But within the pages of that magazine lay many surprises, and the Big 10 held many of them. The magazine publishers obviously have a hatred for Penn State, as they were predicted to finish 3rd this season even though they're the 3rd best team in the country. The teams ahead of the Nittany Lions? Ohio State and Indiana.

Heisman Standings: Belcher 2nd, Highest Preseason Rank Ever

Bloomington, IN - The Heisman standings were released over a week ago, but it's still important to mention that Damarlo Belcher is 2nd on the preseason list, which is the highest ranking in Indiana history.

"I feel honored to even be considered for a national award, let alone be 2nd on the Heisman list," said Belcher this morning. "I don't really pay attention to the media about college football, so this is actually the first time that I've seen the Heisman standings. I hope I can live up to my expectations."

Indiana Looks, Feels Ready for Western Kentucky

Bloomington, IN - Last night, I had a chance to visit Indiana's final walk-through before their opening game against Western Kentucky. The team I saw yesterday was not a team I had ever seen; they were physical, strong, fast, smart, and prepared to play the Hilltoppers tomorrow morning.

"This is a whole new team," said star wide receiver Damarlo Belcher, who is one of the favorites to win the Heisman Memorial Trophy this year. "When I run a route, I can tell that our entire defense knows what it is doing. Our quarterback is receiving intense pressure, the linebackers are either getting at the quarterback or dropping back into great coverage, and our cornerbacks are sticking on receivers like fly paper. This is going to be a huge year for Indiana football."

The team may have deceived fans earlier in the week, as they held an open practice on Tuesday. It was terrible. Receivers were dropping passes, kicks were off, the offensive line gave up at least 20 sacks, and the cornerbacks were all over the place. The linebackers and defensive line were the lone bright spots on that day, as they completely dominated the field. Tim Alexander, the reigning Freshman of the Year for FBS football, recorded an outstanding 35 tackles to lead the 'backers. No one on the line stood out to me, because the o-line was having such a shitty day. "If I were still playing (he was a running back at Indiana in the late 80s), I would have stopped taking the ball and running," said coach Anthony Thompson. "Our line was just pitiful."

But seeing how well they did on Thursday, I'm not worried at all about their game against WKU.

what surprised me even more was the fact that the game should have been even more of a blowout. i put in my 2nd team offense at the start of the 2nd half, and the 2nd string defense before that . they were that bad.

Indiana Destroys Western Kentucky, Starts Season 1-0

Bowling Green, KY - For the 2nd time in 3 season, Indiana opened the season playing the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers. And just like last time, it was a blowout from the beginning.

From the very first play, it was clear that Indiana was going to absolutely demolish the Hilltoppers. Even though they fell behind early (Western Kentucky won the coin toss and scored on the first drive), the team and fans had complete faith. "I saw them fall behind early, but I knew that they would bounce back," said Henry Kathman, a lawyer who is an avid follower of the Hoosiers. "I figured that within a minute or two, the team would start to get over their nerves and play better." His prophecy proved to be true, since Indiana would go on to score 38 straight points.

Even though Indiana scored 38 points and put up 473 yards in the first half, the 2nd half was better overall. With the second team offense and defense at the helm, Indiana outscored the Hilltoppers 24-0, and that includes a 4 minute and 38 second drive to end the game. "It was unbelievable," said quarterback Jammone Chester, who had to watch in agony as the Hoosiers played the entire second half without the first-team offense. "They could have crawled on their hands and knees and still gotten a first down."

Indiana hopes to continue their win next streak next week as they face a very tough Oregon State team.

i know. i saw him wide open over the middle. it was one of those moments where i realize that ncaa football 10 has a lot of mistakes in it. but im at least happy that he has one touchdown on the season, because it will probably be his last . thanks for followin man
