I got something to add to the "Getting calls" argument. LeBron James is listed at 6'6" 250LBS. Now that's a big boy, matter of fact however, LeBron plays upward of 175-180lbs if not more. No one knows the dudes real weight, he's a football wide-reciever playing basketball, if you need an idea of his speed check out the block on J.Rich. (Yes, it was a foul, so don't bring that shit in here.) . Now take that speed, and that weight and when he's coming down the lane tell me what your going to do against him?
Guys either get out of the way or wrap him up and he drags them with him. So getting calls for LeBron isn't so much ticky-tack fouls as is what else can you do?
Another thing, Kobe is a talent yes, but Kobe's time is running out, he's still atheletic as hell, will go down as one of the greats. But guys like Wade, LeBron, Howard, CP3, the list goes on. They want Kobe status and they're all getting very, very, close. Kobe can still play I'm not saying that he can't but now the talent in the league has changed and getting up on his level, perhaps Wade/LeBron have a chance to change the plateau. No one is taking anything away from Kobe's talent but the league has changed since his arrival. It's only natural that someone step up and take over where the last guy left off.
