but I agree with W2BTD, McNair had a great career but injuries really hurt them even though he stuck it out a lot in Tenn. But I think we should just mourn his death instead of debating if he is HOF material or not.

Police just released a statement saying McNair was shot multiple times while the woman was shot once in the head.

The pistol was found near her.

Both in the living room...McNair on a sofa, woman on the floor.

Witness said McNair showed up at the condo in the morning.

Autopsies tomorrow.

I havent ready every post in this thread but from what they are saying on the news and Metro Spokesperson Don Aaron has said.....


Steve was found on the couch,Sahel Kazemi was found on the ground. A man who co-owns the condo came over and found them, he then called Big Daddy Gaddy. Gaddy called metro police. McNair had multiple gunshot wounds, including one to the head. The woman had one gunshot wound to the head and a gun was found near her.


McNair and Sahel Kazemi were both owners on the title of a 2007 escalade that she got a DUI in Thursday night, McNair was riding with her and was allowed to take a taxi home. She refused a breath test and told the cop Im high not drunk.

All i know from watching true crime shows over the years is this was a "crime of passion" obviously someone was really emotionally upset at McNair due to the many gunshot wounds.

This really sucks. Awesome guy, but there's definitely something else to this story.

I was just about to say something like this, McNair was a WARRIOR on the field, he consistently played through injuries that would've sidelined lesser men for weeks. He was a true leader on the field and I will always have respect for him. RIP

Wild...just wild. He was one of my favorite players to watch in the league, having watched him going all the way back to high school since Mount Olive was a couple of counties over from us. I'll have to dig up the DVD of when him and my brother were on the same all area team.

As far as the crime that has been committed, the culprit almost has to be McNair's wife or Sahel's ex-boyfriend. How pissed would Mrs. McNair be that her husband had an Escalade that he had jointly titled over to a 20 year old woman and got pulled over on Thursday night with her? How pissed would ex-boyfriend be that his girl was getting banged by an NFL player and could do shit for her that he never could? I hope the police get to the bottom of this shit quickly.

Air McNair. Wow... he was the man. Great guy too. Came all the way from Alcorn State and made a legend of himself in the NFL. Respectable on the field. It's a shame that he had to go like that. Born on Valentine's Day, killed on Independence Day. Wow. He's God's QB now.

To me it sounds more like someone attempted to make it look like a murder-suicide as in they knew to only put one gunshot in the woman and to place the pistol next to hear.

That's just how I see it, but more will obviously come out.

I just don't buy that though. McNair was rich and getting all up in some 20 year old girls panties. The girl was bangin a likely NFL hall of famer and had yet to even begun bleeding her sugar daddy for more shit. Why would she want to kill him and then commit suicide? Not much in that for a gold digger.
