IMO, Denver's coach and management are doing everything in their power to embarrass Tebow ... and he keeps winning anyway. I feel bad for Tebow. He has no chance in Denver, because their leadership there simply doesn't believe in him. It may be a stretch to say this, but sometimes I wonder if Elway fears Tebow will become a bigger legend in Denver than Elway. Whatever IT is, Tebow has IT. OK, he's not a fundamentally sound passer, but he's a winner. Hypothetical - If Tebow gets hurt mid-game, what does Denver do? Surely they can't change a gameplan up unless they've been practicing it?

Quinn would wow the opposing defense with his biceps, opening up running lanes for the backs.

Didn't watching the game but I looked at the play by play.. I think at one stage in the game with the Broncos up 10-0 they had called 24 rush plays and Tebow was 0/3 in pass attempts.. Seems the coaches are sticking to a game plan and it's winning them football games - can't see it lasting too long though.

IMO, they are using this playcalling strategy to embarass Tebow. What they didn't count on was it actually working.

Again, I am not saying Tebow is the prototypical perfect QB, but the kid is a winner. Stop trying to fit a square peg into a round hole.

I'm not sure what the hell you are talking about.

Can you explain exactly how the Broncos are intentionally trying to embarrass Tebow, when they changed the entire offense to suit his skills? If they Broncos were trying to sabotage Tebow (absurd), you would think they would have installed a pass happy scheme, not a comfortable shotgun spread with a heavy run emphasis.

I'm getting at throwing 8 times in an entire game. This is a kid who has had 300-yard passing games in the NFL.
They're trying to imply he is only good for 5-8 passes a game.

So let me get this straight...Tebow's career completion percentage is 48%, so by passing less, the Broncos are intentionally trying to embarrass him? Is that what you are saying dave?

Have you even read the last few pages of the thread?

I've defended the offense they are running, I don't find it embarrassing at all. I think it was a great move to let Tebow play in the offense he's comfortable in. And so far, it's working.
