Who else was it? He threw both the TDs and ran in the 2pt conversion. The only things he didn't do was kick/recover the onside kick and make the sack fumble in OT to set up the field goal.

He didn't do shit in OT and he didn't do shit in 99% of the game, and the 2 point conversion had to be a direct order from Dolphins ownership to "Suck for Luck" with the way that sea parted. (Come on, like nobody expected a QB draw there? Yeah, right.)

I like that the defense got the ball back via turnover, already in field goal range mind you, and Tebow marched the team a grand total of two yards to "set up" the winning score, and somehow the media manages to shoehorn that into the tried and true TEBOW IS A WINNER narrative. It's comical.

Honestly, I've never wanted a player to succeed more than Tim Tebow, and it's gotten to the point where the Broncos have become my ugly step son that I want to see play and succeed.

I disagree. As your average lazy, self-centered American, I hate having Tim Tebow's clearly superior life be idolized on ESPN. I hate that his own, personal religious views aren't censored. I hate that he makes more money than I do. I hate that he's a better person than I am, and impacts more lives than I do. And all I want is for him to fail miserably at his livelihood so that I can feel better and he can be humanized to my level. What's so wrong with that??

That's actually not that far from the truth. I have a boy who's a diehard UF fan and he said that people have told him they dislike Tebow because he's always talking about God. Stupid argument I know but it's been said, but I think most people dislike him from the amount of press he's gotten over the years.

Myself, I don't like him, but it's because he played at UF so I have an engraved hate for anyone that goes there. Outside of that, I have no issues with him. I actually wish him the best because of the unnecessary hate I think he get's from time to time. With that said, I don't think he's a good QB at this point and didn't think he was coming out. I think he'll have an average career/decent career at best but as long as he wins that's all that will matter to whatever team he is on.

Yeah except that Favre also held the media hostage every off-season and has been critical of his replacement even after he won a title.

The coverage surrounding Tebow isn't generated by him. He doesn't have the Peter Kings of the world that he's built up relationships with and will put in "anonymous" calls to. Ed Werder and Rachel Nichols aren't sitting on his lawn because it's August and he hasn't decided whether or not he was going to play this season. Jenn Sterger isn't releasing cell phone pictures of his dong to the public.

I still remember last pre-season when that no name UF receiver said the offense would actually be better under Brantley. When they asked Tebow about it all he did was say that he wished the kid and the team the best on the upcoming season, what a dick move.

Why shouldn't the media love him? He's incredibly intriguing and easily the most interesting thing going right now in an otherwise bland NFL.

He plays the position like nobody else has in decades. The Broncos offense actually looks different from the other 31 teams when he plays (imagine that). Focusing on his stats is missing the point. He'll never have impressive passing statistics. Who cares. Watching him make comebacks the last two weeks was incredible drama.

Have you ever heard a radio interview with an athlete who is promoting a cell phone app or some other kind of product they've never used? They have to say the name of the product at least once every question and then when it comes time to describe the actual product they just stumble through it, barely able to read the copy that was provided by the PR rep for the sponsor. Yet no one condemns then for cashing that check, do they?

But yes let's make the fact that Tebow brought cameras along with him on his missionary trips a bad thing. Sure it painted the guy in a good light, but it also promoted awareness of a cause that he believed in and I don't think he was taking any money from the villagers he was helping.

Again... are you condemning guys for doing Under Armour spots? Why is Tim Tebow being attacked for taking endorsement deals that are offered to him just like ANY OTHER HUMAN ON THE PLANET WOULD?

But I can see that him doing missionary work in his free time and brings video crews to promote awareness of the problems that he's trying to help with and for his church's missions is totally fucked up and he should stop.

People have been trying to poke holes in this kid for the better part of 7 years now and they have all come up with nothing better than "oh he's gay" "oh he cried because he lost a game" and other meaningless bullshit when there's a league full of people who without football would be nothing more than uneducated pieces of shit who made no real contribution to society.

I'm not condemning him for anything but just want him to be treated like all other players. He's put on a pedestal by fans and the media that's so fucking ridiculous and unfair.
