We are able to confirm there has been a considerable amount of drama lately between Vince McMahon and John Cena. As previously reported, WWE keeps promising John time off but keep changing their minds. He was originally slated for time off after WrestleMania XXVIII but he ended up agreeing to work BROCK LESNAR at Extreme Rules. I’m told he wanted to put CM Punk over at WWE Night of Champions and take time off to not only get his elbow cleaned out but to rest his ailing hip. Vince insisted he work Hell in a Cell in October so Cena’s answer was to take off between Night of Champions and Hell in a Cell to get his elbow cleaned out as well as take some time off the road to heal up.

I’m told John felt it was a convenient time to try and get his elbow taken care of in addition to taking time to heal. Usually John doesn’t stand up to Vince, so Vince decided he would give Cena two weeks off after the surgery but no more. Vince specifically told the office he would be back in two weeks but didn’t tell John, assuming he would do whatever he said. Cena was extremely upset when he found out and things got pretty heated with Cena even threatening not to work Hell in a Cell. My source says they comprised last Friday on how many appearances he would do between then and the pay-per-view, however, this was after Cena appeared at the WWE NXT taping on Thursday.

Backstage at NXT, I’m told Cena tried to be professional about it but was clearly not happy at the show. Vince actually made sure that anything Cena taped at NXT would be immediately sent to him for his approval. This led to Vince making Cena re-tape a lot of segments and bumpers because Vince felt Cena seemed “pouty” in them, further upsetting Cena.

I think all of those people were much better than Kelly Kelly. I don't really remember Brakus very well, though.

Otunga stinks, but he's like Lou Thesz compared to Kelly Kelly.

From his stale facial expressions to his stiff mannerisms, his slow and plodding movements, and the fact everything he does in the ring has the stench of a bad indy geek...there hasn't been ONE match of his that I've seen and HAVEN'T thought, 'Holy fuck, this guy is the worst ever, why do they continue putting him in the ring?"

He's one of the guys where if they're insistent on trotting him out there to work in the ring, why not match him up with some old vet on the road to teach him?

Punk did a Q&A today and strongly hinted that Colt Cabana was on his way back to the WWE. Also said that the NXT trainer gig was Sara Del Rey's "dream job" and that she is thrilled to have it.

Agree with your final statement. It seems like the manager role has substantially been reduced from when I was watching years ago to when I picked up again following Wrestlemania this year. Otunga seems like he would be perfect for that role.

Ryback FAILING on the finish against Albert was bad.

Showed he was mortal via Kayfabe.

Showed that Albert's too fat and Ryback can't lift that much in real life otherwise.

Dude has the Backpack Stunner as a back-up but went for the Lariat instead when they fucked up the finish.

Yeah, they kept trying of course saying Albert was countering but really Albert is just too big and Ryback has the muscles but isn't as strong as he should be for his role.

The Band has potential, but they desperately need a mentor. They need the rub. Not a manager (mouthpiece not needed). They need a heel that's been around for a while to completely kick the crap out of them (destroyed after an 8 man tag?), and have them go to the heel and ask for help and guidance. Would be a great way to get them elevated

IMO, Big Show could work for this after his current program.
