Cutler hasnt shown a consistant history yet. he is still a newb- i didnt say i dont think he is / may be good. Romo is on winning team but hasnt shown me anything yet as a quality individual QB.

I just don't like the idea of a guy skipping training camp. It puts the other quarterbacks at odds with each other and with the organization. It's just not necessary. And if he thinks anyone's buying the idea that it's not to get revenge on Green Bay, he's just dead wrong.

I'm not gonna make jokes about his sanity or smoking weed or whatever (lol), but does he honestly think anyone's buying that? Does he think he's doing this for our benefit? There's tons of teams who might be "a quarterback away".

I've got to say, I don't fully understand this man. But, what I do understand of him, I don't like.

Exactly. He as old guy playing football with a bunch of kids. He still has a good arm but it isn't right that Sage Rosenfels and Tavaris Jackson have to sit behind some old guy now he just came in after training and only has a legacy. There is a good chance he wont perform well. He didn't do too good with the Jets and most likely he will do just as bad or worse with the Vikings.

His constant texting with ESPN and other media outlets helps keep him in the news. Let's not pretend that Brett has nothing to do with the media's interest. Too many times I've heard reports on Brett because of Text messages from Brett to reporters.

Didnt do good with jets ? They won because of Favre. The team as a whole wasnt good enough to push farther. The reason Favre did poorly towards the end of last year was the injury to his arm, that has been corrected. Favre is a proven leader and winner. That is why the Vikes have given him another opportunity.

LOL @ the Jets winning because of Favre .. they won 9 games. Any of the QB's I mentioned earlier in this thread lead that team to at least 11 wins imo. Better yet, they show up to training camp, interact with teammates, and don't break down at the end of the season.

I never said -just winning makes a great leader. If favre were actually selfish and arrogant, the Vikes wouldnt be asking him back. How's it a given that they'd have done worse with Clemens? Because Clemens has never been given a chance to prove himself worthy of a starting job and teams are allowing Favre to destroy the serenity (not a good word for that, but whatever) of their locker-room so he can extend his consecutive starts streak?
