They showed Roy getting picked. I was also shocked Marcus was picked late by Rampage. Marcus is a good guy and still lives in the Tampa area. I'll be rooting for him, but, I really have no favs...yet.

I think it is pretty clear how this season is going to pan out. Rashad appears to have the more technically sound team and a team that actually has a direction and strategy. Rampage seemed to focus on "big" guys. That was about it. The extent of his coaching was limited to "get up Abe, get up." "Don't touch gloves," and "He's doing the same thing." Doesn't seem Rampage does much coaching. Granted, it is the first episode, but, Rashad appeared to have an idea of what he was looking for in a fighter. Rampage just wanted to have a bromance with Kimbo.

BTW, great job isolating Kimbo from everyone else by telling him "you ain't gotta do nothin'" to Kimbo. Why doesn't Rampage just have him wear a bullseye on the back of his shirt?

Yeah they didn't show Roy getting picked. I thought Marcus Jones had a chance to turn some heads, but damn they're already on him about his cardio and this is a former 1st round NFL draft pick. Dude is a beast, but I think he'll gas if someone ends up pushing him in a fight.

I thought Marcus was going to be do work too, but seeing him on the mat like that from training doesnt bode too well for him.

now that i think about it, it makes total sense that kimbo will be held to one of the last fights. whos the say the ufc didnt tell the coaches to hold on to kimbo and keep him till one of the last fights. its their show. i know kimbo is the star of the show but watching the teasers for next weeks episode it was a little bit ridiculous. " watch kimbo next week " " see kimbo train next week" "will kimbo fight next week?" "who will step up to fight kimbo?" "kimbo kimbo kimbo kimbo kimbo". this truly is now "The Ultimate Kimbo " show. which was totally to be expected but they are pushing kimbo to nauseating lengths. there are also 9 other guys on the show that deserve a bit of the spotlight.

I like Wes the early pick of Rampage.

Rampage is a lousy coach,hes there for personality , but the fighters are usually lousy coaches anyway..its there trainers that do the job.

Rashads team looks much better..the NFL guys might get mauled.

Didnt like that thing where Dana came out and said "5 minutes guys , dont fight blah blah" that was so done for TV its retarded.
Kimbo looked wide eyed...dont know if he was scared or just nervous bout the TV cameras.
There was only a half second shot but his ground game still not being there and how easily that guy mounted him means one and done for Kimbo. Cant see him taking shots from these beasts or surviving a wrestler.

This show is pretty crappy, I am only watching to see Kimbo, Roy, Wes and all the HWs, Heavys are always fun, but this show jumped the shark years ago, I fast forwarded thru most of it even though I wanted to watch

They showed Roy getting picked, I still cant believe he was picked in the middle, I dont see how Greg Jackson let him get past the 2nd pick, I know they had to pick there teamates first, but he fell to like the 5th pick

Wes Sims is always good for a laugh, love when he said he beat Mir twice and never lets the truth get in the way of a good story

Should be fun to watch, they already teased Rampage beating up the door, whats with the UFC and doors? Forrest, Brock and now Rampage

If Rashad gets to pick and doesnt pick someone to fight Kimbo first than the fix is in, everyone of those fighters wants to fight Kimbo and beat him, easiest way to get your name out there

Rashad will let his boy from his team fight Kimbo first if he really gets to pick the fights, if not, than you know the UFC is telling him to let Kimbo hang around

TUF 10 Shatters Ratings Record with 4.1 Million Viewers link

The season debut of “The Ultimate Fighter 10” shattered the network’s previous ratings record for the show with a whopping 4.1 million viewers (5.3 rating), according to a press release distributed by Spike TV Thursday.

The series’ previous highpoint was 2.8 million viewers for the live finale of “The Ultimate Fighter 3” in 2006, said the release.

The addition of streetfighting sensation Kimbo Slice to the 16-man heavyweight cast helped the cable network top the Men 18-34, 18-49, 18-24, and 25-34 demos, beating out “The Jay Leno Show,” “America’s Got Talent” season finale and others, according to the release.

The debut also grabbed 3.2 million viewers in the co-gender Person 18-49 demographic.
