True Blood

I think Stoker would be quite delighted with how popular his creation has become. It's so embedded into our culture that people actually believe they're real.
 
i knew the season was starting, but i didnt know when. i was real disappointed by season 3. But i figure if i suffered thru season 5 of dexter then i at least gotta give this show a few more episodes

i will be looking for the torrent
 
Just starting season 2.

The only thing I hate is how they portray Christians. The only ones that aren't batshit crazy or genocidal freaks were the grandmother and Sookie.
 
I turned the wife last night and said, I really don't care about this show anymore, there is not one character I have any feelings for, its worse than Weeds in that while i felt all the characters on that show are low lives, at least it used to be funny.

felt the same way after show 1. i couldnt even get thru the first show because it just lost everything that made it so captivating in season 1
 
 
Indeed an interesting episode. Got to see some nice boobs finally, Crystal finally put out, and the chick from Dirt screwing Bill, the Indian chick was nice too. I dont have a good feeling about Sam and his bro, but maybe i'm wrong. For some reason, I thought maybe Eric lost his vampire status and became human again, but I was wrong, gonna be interesting to see what Sookie does so he doesnt feed from her. I used to like Sookie, but i'm sorry, Jessica is the hottest chick on the show for me, also, she is a bit of a bitch, he stood up for her and got his ass kicked, he knows what V can do to people, and he doesnt want to go down that road and become an addict like Andy. It was a bit fucked up Jason got kidnapped, just so the chick can put out a were child, but i'm curious, if Sookie is fairy, its just as possible Jason could be as well, so there is gonna be a fairy were maybe, interesting. Also, I dont remember Season 3 but is it a fact the baby is Reane's? I find it weird we still have to deal with that guy despite his dying in the first season.
 
This may be my last season watching this show. It's turning into a clusterfuck world of every mythical creature/power known to man's story. It's like GI Joe meets Transformers meets DC Comics meets Marvel meets He-Man meets Smurfs meets Disney.


P.S. I can't believe how many people I see saying they hated Dexter Season 5. It was MEANT to be a completely different type of season, you can't regurgitate the same thing every year. I liked it, and wish you-know-who was going to be in this season as well instead of leaving in the finale.
 
everyone hating on true blood already. Some of the story lines are blah but some are cool. I like it but I don't demand too much from shows. Always seems like a slow start then it picks up.
 
I am actually digging this season...but True Blood suffers from one major problem...too many fucking story lines. Its like, after season one, they kept everyone because some focus groups happened to find the whole cast likable on some level...so, they kept everyone.

Some of these major characters should have died off already. Arlene, for sure...Renee should have killed her at the end of season one. Lafayette should have died, but I'll let it pass because he's likable and has been a key instrument in a lot of actual storylines as a background character. Tara has been worthless and Eggs should have killed her. Sam's brother...should be dead. Hoyt's mom...dead.
 
yeah no interest in Tara although I am always hoping they show nudity from her!

Not digging the Jason story so much but it could get interesting.....

Jason's a good character, but they've gotten away from why he was a good character. Sookie's tard brother that gives us a reason to see lots of tits.

That was my complaint about Season 3(I think in this thread).

While all the important characters were outside of Bom Tempts, the town still managed to get 50% of the screen time.
