Pop, burger and frieds were 40 cents, and is now $3.99+
And xbox live was 50 and is now 60.

I mean, what is M$ really charging us for? Again, it's not like they have dedicated servers. If they did then this would be understandable. Running servers for millions of users is expensive as shit. But they don't. Instead I pay money to play other people online on servers provided by the individual game companies and get smacked in the face by myriad ads along the way. Oh yeah, but I can always party up with people and watch a fucking Netflix movie! Hooray!

You really need to stop complaining about ads. You have been told 100 damn times that you pay for TV and you still see ads, and I would say TV ads are worse then XBL ads, because normally they get in the way of a cool part of a show. Where as, when you say XBL ads, most of the time I have no fucking idea what you're even talking about because when I turn on my xbl I press the A button twice and get into my game. So I never see the ads, and in the one time a month I do, I don't complain about it.

You have also said Playstation doesn't make you pay. But as KG has pointed out, their service is shit for him, and XBL is better and "OH MY GOSH" PS is coming out with a paid service. If PS switched to a full pay service, you better complain just as hard.

Sorry, but when you complain about $60 when you have the room you do, job you do, and life style of a gamer that you do, you just come off as a cry baby.

The party system for ME is worth it alone. Playing NCAA and Forza we constantly need to discuss stuff in group to make sure we are all on the right page.

also having trouble connecting to games or getting the same room as a friend is much easier when we are in a party figuring it out.

Also just being able to talk to people you want to talk to when playing online is priceless!

Mine doesn't. Mine goes right to my game screen. And if not, I click up or down to go to the game screen, hit A twice and away I go. Looking at an ad for 2 seconds isn't going to kill you and really is nothing to rage about like you do.

Lots of people have complained about it. KG has both systems and has been very truthful about his thoughts. As have a lot fo people about the PS3's shitty system for online play. So not just one opinion, but I'll take KG's opinion over yours on it, since you are a complete homer for your free service.

The principle of what? When are you going to listen and understand this is business. Prices increase all the time. As it is now, $60 is nothing to bitch about as much as you do. When it gets to $100 then maybe. But if you want to start a revolt against them because they MAY up the price, then by all means go ahead. You have access to guns, so at least it will be good.

NO they cant do that. Cards you buy now will work forever. They cant expire.

I think the best comparison is when I use to have Comcast. Every six months or so they would send me a letter saying "Due to increased costs in blah, blah, blah we have to raise the cost of your service $7. And by the way, we are eliminating channels X, Y and Z. kthxbye"

They are raising the cost but not giving me anything more. Of corse the difference here is that Comcast would do it at least twice a year and this the first major increase in Live's existence that I know of.
