It's not ridiculous. I feel like we should be sophisticated enough to judge the entire picture.
Eli's day was in the bag, his contributions to the game were over. If the final score validated him in some way in your eyes, i'm sorry, but that's ridiculous. It wouldn't have mattered to me if Brady scored on the final drive or not in terms of judging Eli's performance today. He played an "ok" game and he's still the same Eli to me that he was before the game. An extra ring doesn't change anything, and I don't see why it would considering it wasn't some sort of super performance where the team climbed on his back.
I don't eat the easy media narrative of RINGS. It's part of the profile, nothing more.
