I'm thinking Sandusky will be found dead before he ever sets foot in prison. Generally people who do these sorts of things are cowards.

no Im not fuck, Im saying that when a story breaks the victims all come forward. Why not come forward before. If they (not just the kids, but anyone in any situation that keeps quite for years) are going to come forward today, why not last week, or last year. Thats what Im saying.

I've already explained the public scorn/scrutiny, the support system of other victims, not to mention other victims may not have know this was even being investigated.

This really isn't a surprise, as the University had to force him out. It also isn't a surprise some students will rally/riot on his behalf, as these sort of idiots are everywhere. Most of them are brainless idiot followers anyways.

Seriously. I always laugh when these "riots" occur. Its just a bunch of 18-22 year olds looking for an excuse to scream and break shit because they see another person doing it. Half of them don't even care about Paterno and are only there because their friends are there. This is a big a reach but its somewhat similar to the reactions' to Osama bin Laden's death.

American college students are some of the dumbest people on this planet.

And... the dozens of other victims would know about this investigation, how? They felt isolated, helpless, shamed, etc. This is a very prominent figure in a very small community. Completely understandable for a kid to have gone through that and never want to discuss it, especially when you feel like your voice will fall on deaf ears.

I think you are underestimating the psychological damage of being a rape victim.
