This is looking really bad for Penn State students. These selfish few are gonna fuck around and get their game on Saturday canceled.

How can you have thousands of people out there chanting WE ARE PENN STATE and have cheerleaders cheering and people rallying together.... you just can't.

This is not a time for the school to rally though.

College football is about unity, gathering, pride, etc. This is not the time for those.

I know it's not fair to the players I agree but you can't tell me that wouldn't be the weirdest game ever. It's just hard to imagine 70,000 putting on Penn State colors and rallying behind the school.

Again, I agree the players are the bystandards in this but sometimes football has to take a backseat.

True, the players deserve the game but the students do not. Play it in an empty stadium or an empty student section.

Jerry Sandusky is the evil villian, not the school, not the students, not the football players.

It's really not a big deal.

Why don't we just burn down the entire town while we're at it? Sandusky is going to jail forever, Paterno is fired, move on.

This is an institutional issue, Warner. You really can't deny that at this point.

The school is very, very much one of the villains in this case. Don't lose sight of that.

There are tons of assumptions and speculation when it comes to Paterno. This story is long from over. He will either come out of this the ultimate pariah, or the ultimate scum.

Agreed. Steve Levy made a great statement about how the victims and their families must feel about all these PSU students rallying in support of Paterno.

I wonder how they feel knowing a man who witnessed a rape in the shower is still employed.

I will say it is absolutely wrong that McQueary is still on the coaching staff and Paterno is not.

Sandusky got a job at Victim 1's HS as an assistant coach, kid who was 15 now, started freaking out and confessed to the school authorities, who called the mother and everything hit the fan.

The grand jury investigated the first 8 kids, the additional coming out now were not part of the investigation.

I wonder what happened to that DA, interesting that his HD was found on banks of a frikkin river.
