Jordan shares his disappointment of Heat Big Three

I dont see how LeBron could be the favourite for MVP at this point.. hes paired himself with one of the other legit threats for MVP.. surely they are taking votes away from each other and that alone would likely put them out of the running.

If LeBron averages 25/9/9 next season, how can you really take it away from him? I think the thing hindering him most is the fact that he's already back-to-back MVP.

I am sick and tired of people saying the Cavs didn't put a team around Lebron.

We put a team around him. He fucking quit. He quit in the ECF last year and he quit against the Celtics this year in game 5 and 6. It wasn't that he didn't have help. It wasn't Le Elbow. He quit.

This team has had the best record in the NBA for the past 2 seasons. This same team swept the Lakers this past year, including a blowout on Christmas day in LA. They handed the Boston Celtics their worst home loss in the franchise's playoff history.

The Cavs developed this team around him. They gave him a squad he could win a championship with. But, as always, when Lebron doesn't get his way (I.E. Mike Brown), he takes his ball and goes home.

True say Mo Williams and Antwan Jamison just aint gonna get it done in todays NBA. The Cavs built a great regular season team around LeBron.. with a bunch of guys who arent proven to do shit in the playoffs and the whole team fell of their game during that time. Altho I did buy into the Cavs having a chance to win in the playoffs.. a lot of my friends insisted that teams like Orlando and Boston were both better built for the post-season. In the end they were correct and I see the reasons now.. the complete inability for the majority of the roster to elevate their game to the intensity needed to win playoff games..

The media's opinion of Lebron has changed drastically here recently and I don't see him as the favorite to win the MVP based on who he has around him at this point. It's going to be tough for Lebron to make an MVP argument playing with two if the 10 best players in the NBA.

Kobe and Durant are the clear front runners for MVP right now.

Unfortunately we'll never be able to conclude accurate results of this debate. Bosh, although inconsistent, also has 3PT range. Hopefully, for Miami's sake, he can keep up the 37% he shot from distance last season.

LOL come on.. Chris Bosh attempted 22 3-pters last season. He is not a 3 pt shooter at all. I thank the good lord that he only took that shot in certain situations, because there is absolutely no reason for Chris to be hanging around the 3 pt line..

I'm calling it now...Durant will be the MVP. Its already starting to work in his favor. He's going to get like 30ppg while more than likely on team that will win about 50+ games. You couple that with people's sudden detest for all things LBJ and the perception of Kobe declining while playing with other great players Durant will be the MVP.

It also helps that Durant has now replaced LBJ as the next "big thing". Durant will be the new "it guy" until he's 6-7 years in the league and hasn't won a championship.....at that point people we'll begin to hear rumors of him needing to be in a bigger market and leaving Oklahoma City for NY, Chicago, etc. However, I don't think he's the type of guy who will go on national TV to make his decision.

I could see that. I mean Kobe is my front runner but Durant if OKC improves at all and he puts up similar/better numbers to last year he could very well win it.

The difference is, Jordan played on a team that people actually wanted to come to. Everyone seems to forget that LeBron wanted to stay with the Cavs and lure Bosh to come with him. When he couldn't get him, LeBron knew Cleveland was never going to be able to bring in top-tier talent like LA, Boston, Chicago, etc.

Who the fuck wanted to go to Chicago before Jordan came to the team? I'm sure so many people had to be held back to want to fill Reggie Theus' shoes.

Lol.. I guess. The Boozer mid-range jumper is soooo butter tho.. Bosh hits it consistently but I would like to see a break down of who hits more of those jumpers. I honestly think Carlos Boozer just doesnt get all the love he deserves because hes playing with Deron Williams and because I think a lot of ppl kind of wrote him off as a black sheep when he did Cleveland the way he did. But again.. other then age, the differences are minimal.. they are very, very similar players. It wouldve been fun to see what Bosh couldve done playing with only Wade.. or only LeBron.. I think hes going to have to defer far too much now for us to ever know how good he really is. And as a personal fan of the guy thats REALLY unfortunate to me..

Because he barely spoke to Cleveland once this whole process started and the day he lost in the playoffs was already texting Rose about coming to Chicago. That's how. Lebron at no point in time was interested in coming back to Cleveland, literally every report from any source would tell you that.

Orlando should make a run at Steve Nash if Phoenix has a rough go at it this year (and they might).. they could send em Jameer Nelson and whatever else to make it work (they have promising young big men in Bass and Anderson) and I honestly think he would help Howard soooooo much offensively.

But in reality im not sure Orlando will ever be able to win a ship without getting a real PF at the 4... Rashard Lewis gets shredded defensively by big 4's. Pau Gasol ate his food in the finals a couple years ago. I know Shard fits that offense so well at the 4... but defensively its a nightmare, especially come playoff time. Howard can only help lighten the load so much.

Another bruiser to help Howard would be great, but they also need a perimeter player who can create not only for himself, but others. Nelson does this in stints, but nearly consistent enough and Carter was brought in to do this, but he's past his prime and would rather take jump shots.

I just remember what Paul did for Tyson Chandler's career, so can only imagine what he'd do for Howard's who basically is a rich man's Chandler.
