Which Fedor-Nog do you have? It happened three times, though the middle one was a No Contest due to a cut. The first one is the best.

Too many good ones to even start to list. If you're mainly looking for Fedor's stuff..

Pride 23 - vs Herring - Fedor's 2nd Pride fight and where he emerges
Pride 26 - vs Fujita - the only time Fedor was ever in trouble in a fight in Pride...
Critical Countdown 2004 - vs Randleman - the suplex...
Final Conflict 2005 - vs Crocop
Pride 32 - vs Coleman - good fun as he toys with Coleman for awhile, then armbar's Coleman's young daughters...

Beyond that, the 2000 Grand Prix is a must have. The 2003 Grand Prix - which covers the Shockwave, Critical Countdown, and Final Elimination DVDs - is great. Liddel vs Rampage is good, and Rampage vs Wanderlei is must-see. So is their 2nd fight.

Have the first one, and the LHW Grand Prix. i'll look for Final Conflict 2005, maybe 23. dig me some Herring in Japan as well.

for the love of god do whatever it takes to get this DVD. Gomi and Hendo rip shit up. Baroni - Minowa II was a supreme letdown though after there epic first fight

I gotta go with the inverted triangle, the mounted gogo was sweet, but aoki was far superior than who he fought, he could have done any sub in the book that night, this triangle was done on masdival and he is a good fighter

I do wonder if Silva had put on some good performances and not been so hard headed last 2 fights if Danas opinion would've changed.

well, couple reasons why dana wouldnt do it

RJJ will demand a lot, wont want a non-exclusive contract, so if RJJ wins Dana would be screwed, also RJJ is promoting MMA, so maybe he wants a co-promotion thing, so thats out of the questions

Just like he wont sign Fedor for a 1 fight deal, etc...Dana wants to control everything

If Silva went at it MMA style he would beat RJJ in under 2 minutes, but who knows, maybe And1 will try and stand and if he does he will get KTFO

This is the downside of just having 1 top org that doesnt play well with others, you will never get the 'superfights' you want, like Fedor vs UFC HW champs (how many champs they have now? lol), RJJ vs Silva, Kid vs Faber, etc...

It has it pluses and minuses, but I like the boxing structure because atleast you can get crossover fights and bigger fights

MMA fighters being better wouldn't be settled either, because first off Silva would stand a good chance of getting KO'd and KO'd quickly against RJJ, which would be bad news for the sport if the fighter being marketed as MMAs best lost to a boxer who's not even the best at his sport anymore.

There's no question who has the better hands, all of the top boxers would put any mma fighter to school in that category. There are very, very few MMA fighters with impressive boxing technique. AA, Sherk for his size, sometimes Penn, and maybe a few others. Whereas on the other hand if Silva plays to his advantage in that fight and takes RJJ down, then the rebutle is "well that's what he has trained at his entire career whereas RJJ has not".

A big risk for the image of the sport, at least to most casual fans and the media for little return. The money for that particular fight would be good, but how much would RJJ demand out of that. Plus, the UFC is doing huge PPV numbers as is, they don't need that fight.

why did dana call out PBF to fight Sherk?

now RJJ says he will fight 'The Best p4p fighter in the world' under MMA rules and Dana says we dont do stuff like that? Please, Dana has been punked by RJJ

I see your point with the rest I cut out.

But this...I think most people would agree that Don King promoting led to the downfall of boxing. Luckily you have "1" entity that on paper would seem to be more athlete friendly and fan friendly. But MMA would be a disaster with guys being promos by camps only.
You cant build MMA on names. Like Boxing or NBA etc when the stars fade the entire sport does. At least with Orgs like we have now its really about a name brand.
I dont think we'd see anywhere near the quality of undercards that we do now with spread out "manager" heavy promoting.
If theres one aspect of MMA >>Boxing that cant be disputed thats the quality and importance of undercards. MMA undercards mean something. In boxing theyre worthless.
