will be a good fight, but I dont like the matchmaking at this point, it seems rushed

I think Carwin should get right in the title picture now because he is already 34 years old, Cain still has a long career ahead of him and a brutal loss to Carwin could screw him up for awhile

I just want to see Brock and Carwin stand in the middle of the cage throwing bombs at each other until someone drops

Because Carwin was a very good wrestler also and is as big as Brock, Brocks takedowns are a little overrated at this point, Randy did a nice job stopping a couple of them and he is a very very small HW, Brocks takedowns seem more like bull rushes at this point, also Randy would have taken Brock down if it wasnt for his blatant cheating by grabbing the fence

When 2 wrestlers match up it usually becomes a stand up battle

hes a coach on TUF against Rashad Evans which is filming right now. That season of TUF is airing in september and ending in december so he'll be fighting Rashad sometime around december.

--UFC 100 "best matches in history" Countdown starts Sunday at 9 p.m. I am told the five-part show, which concludes an hour before UFC 100, is very good. As for the list, let's just say it's so petty that they didn't even allow fans to vote for the fight that was No. 2 (Frank Shamrock vs. Ortiz) in this web site's poll and even No. 7 in their own magazine. Basically, everyone on the outs (Ortiz, Frank Shamrock, Maurice Smith) were not allowed to be voted onto the top 100 by fans unless it's a match they lost, and since Shamrock never lost in UFC, he doesn't appear at all. Ortiz's losses will likely all crack the top 100 but none of his wins were allowed to be voted on.

frank vs tito is an all time great

tito vs ken I was big because of the lions den fued, ken/tito II was huge for ratings and the number 2 watched fight of all time

mo smith vs coleman was one of the biggest upsets ever and was pretty much a unifacation bout between the UFC and Extreme Fighting champs

this is just sad and petty

Seriously though, Meltzer isn't just the biggest pro wrestling expert, well, ever, but he's also the best MMA reporter in the biz. He's probably the only person on earth who has seen (and reported on) every major MMA show in the history of the sport.

Yeah, they get that shit directly off his website.

I'm not exaggerating when I say he's reported on and written stories on every major event in the history of the sport...or at least starting with the early Pancraes and UWFI stuff from the early 90's. He's probably seen more fights than any living human, now that old man Gracie is dead.

He was also a judge for UFC in the pre Zuffa days, and is probably the only writer who is openly critical of UFC who Dana still allows to get press credentials.

havent heard anything, but I did just see a rumor that it might be against Werdum, I doubt it, not a good fight to get Roger in the MMA mix IMO and it doesnt make much sense

I would hope its against someone where he can use his grappling, he is the best sub grappler in the world right now, would be nice to see a Gracie in the spotlight again
