The Lions had 7 starters injured, Whoopee fucking do. For the bullshit call, you had 9 minutes left in the game after the call and could only muster up 3 points after that, it's a shame the "savior" Freeman couldn't do shit when the game was on the line, and as a Lions fan I couldn't give less of a fuck of your team being "screwed" by a call.

The Lions have the 4th toughest schedule on the NFL based on last year, so yeah a 500. season would be okay, but I believe the Lions will be great next year and will go above and beyond a 500. season, including whipping ya'll in Tampa Bay. Get your head out of your ass, the Lions are freal.

I've watched Backus since he was drafted and he's been a piece of shit since day 1. Penalties, missed blocks, and last year's wiff on peppers was the nail in the coffin. Fuck that guy. I don't care how much a DE gets paid. Backus is protecting an $80 million dollar man, if he needs to get paid more to block better, then pay someone who is worth it. Worse than it really is? Stafford's injury was directly related to Backus' fuckup. I don't blame Backus solely, I blame the idiot oline coach for not helping out the inept Backus against Peppers. Stafford was hurt the whole season. Even the Jets game he came back in, dude was holding his arm the whole game. I'm not blind. You're the dude who claimed the Lions were going to the fucking superbowl last year or two years ago. Get a clue. Its opening day and your team is playing..... I know why, you know your asses gonna lose :smug: I lucked up. My family planned a vacation right around that opening week in Orlando. Shit worked out great. Get to break my Ray Jay Stadium cherry on opening day. :crazydance: If Im lucky we will leave late enough the following Sunday so that i can watch the Bucs/Vikings game instead of being on the road and missing it.

All depends on the money situation, but shit. I didn't even know individual tix were going on sale yet. And I see 4 seats left as of right now available in Section 108 Row K. I'm gonna call up my boy who lives in Orlando and is a Lions fan as well and see if he's down man so we can both go see not only our first Lions game, but NFL game. If so I'm gonna fly my ass down there (45 minute flight from Panama City lol) with my CJ jersey and get my opcorn: ready.

I'll keep you posted if I do so I can give you the :smug: face when the game is over.
