The JZ/Thomson fight did come down to who won the first round. Whether you want to give it to JZ for the guillotine or Thomson for his choke, either way is reasonable. 30-27 was nuts though.

Tate has a shot, she has better wrestling and more than likely wont be subbed, her stand up is not good, but she should be able to get Marloes down and control from the top

I think Noons and Diaz could have been a draw, 3 thru 5 didnt have really clear winners, maybe 4 for Diaz, like I said, body shots dont score with judges

JZ had the knock down, both had sub attempts, Josh had sone top control, I think JZ should have gotten it

apparently diaz and mayhem got into an altercation in the back after diaz's fight. diaz was walking by and mayhem was mean mugging him so he threw a water bottle at his head lol, but it was separated and nothing happened. they should of had mayhem cageside to build up something after the fight instead of going on about noons-diaz 3 which no one really cares about.

After Daley bingo's Smith everyone will want to see Diaz vs Daley, thats a hell of a match up, Daley will be able to stand, Diaz will fight on his feet with anyone, will be a hell of a fight

After that Tyron Woodley is waiting, best wrestler Diaz would face (if he beats Daley) in a long time, Mayhem needs to be fighting Lawler and the other MW's

true. i think mayhem should stay at MW too but there seems to be some legit bad blood between them and would make for a great fight. maybe sometime next year if they are both champs, make it some sort of "super fight". the trash talk and hype would be epic.

yeah, would be great down the road, Diaz is doing his part and winning fights, Mayhem lost to Jake, than got a gimmie fight on the CBS card which was just a HL, than fought Sak in Japan

Sounds good me, but its a different match up somewhat, Daley is true WW, Noons is not, not as technical as KJ, but has shown some big power, uses kicks more, etc...

Woodley still needs a couple more solid wins before he's in the title mix.

Woodley is one win away from a title fight at the most. It's not like there are any other welterweights who deserve a shot more than he does right now.

They should have Woodley on the 12/4 card like he wanted, then assuming he wins, give him a title shot in 2011.

They should take Woodley along the same way the UFC has with Jon Jones, they still have at least 2 more big fights they can make for the WW title, so there shouldn't be any rush to throw Woodley up there already. This was his first fight on a big show, he's still young, so continue to market him to the masses, let him get some co-main events and hone his skills even further. Yes, the division isn't super deep which is even more reason to stretch this out.

Agreed, 2 more fights than title would be ideal

Woodley vs Riggs is a good fight/test, after that it could be a Cyborg fight

They also have Tarec who is almost ready, dont want to see them fight yet, use the guys like Riggs, Cyborg to make a name for Woodley, Tarec and Roger Bowling

Wish they would have re-signed Hieron though

I assume it's from a previous contract (ie. this is fight #2 of whatever)...

Kaufman was the champ and been with the org longer, Coenen will get her payday next time around I'm sure. But, now I understand why Coenen had another fight booked for this week. How can anyone train 3-4 months for a $3k payday.
