Interesting stat I saw today. It's quite remarkable that despite an 8 point loss to the Boston Celtics, the Heat lead the NBA in point differential with an average of +12.7 pts/game. This says a lot for a team that is 22nd in the league in scoring.

Yeah, that they played the Sixers and Nets.

Yes and no. They killed Orlando. They only lost to Philly by 10. Their wins have gotten progressively more convincing. Sure, a small sample size, but it pretty clear that unless you're the Celtics or Lakers and have their depth, the Heat will most likely win their games pretty convincingly.

Wade is averaging a lot more assists and rebounds than I thought. I really thought he'd just turn into a pure scorer like Kobe and only average a couple assists and rebounds per game. Really impressed with him so far, except for the Celtics game obviously.

they are PROFESSIONAL basketball players... they could of been 3 of the absolute worst forwards in the league and it's still impressive

Who would have thought James Jones would be the 3rd leading scorer on the team behind Wade and James. He's shooting something like 54% from downtown and most of his points are coming from threes. If he keeps this up, it's going to be impossible to beat them once Mike Miller comes back. I wonder what the four of them(James, Wade, Jones, Miller) could do on the court together at the same time. That's just ridiculous offensive numbers.
