Why Oklahoma State is more deserving of a title shot than Bama

You could say that, but I'd be arguing the same way for an LSU team that I hate if the "Game of the Century" went the other way.

These two teams are far and away in a class of their own. I refuse to believe any different.

I find it funny that in other years when there has been a 1 loss SEC team vs a 1 loss BCS conference team the SEC backer would support the argument based on how difficult the SEC is week in and week out even if one of the losses was a bit questionable.

THis year though, the SEC clearly isn't as strong top to bottom, OK St has clearly the tough schedule and better wins and the let down loss of sorts but the SEC guys have changed their tune completely.

Nahste hates Bama and Saban but I've also seen him post enough to know that if LSU had Bama's resume and Ok St was in the mix like they are, he would make a case for LSU(which would be fair) but would also udnerstand the strong case Ok St has and more than likely support Ok St going to the ship.

Because of years of talking up the SEC like it is God's conference.

A 1 loss Bama team that played a SEC schedule with an overtime loss to the number 1 team in the country > 1 loss Big 12 team.

Humor me and answer this: If Ok St was undefeated(squeaker win over Iowa State) and Alabama had a squeker loss to LSU I'm sure some people would still say Alabama was the second best team.....Do you feel this way?

But really, Alabama and OSU both have strong resumes. Similarly strong schedules.

Only difference IMO is that Alabama already had their shot at LSU, at home, and lost.

64 qand 65 are laughable years. One season Alabama says that because Michigan State lost in the bowl game that they are the rightful champs. Next season they lose in the bowl game....but still claim the title. Same thing in 1973.

The 1941 claim is a farce and lulz worthy. Plain and simple. No real way around it.

Objectively speaking I'd most likely give the Tide 9. Some people will nit pick less because some of their Pre 1936 titles were voted on by Sugar Bowl committee members. Meh. Whatever.
