Broncos agree to trade Cutler to Bears

So I just heard that Jay Cutler was committed to U of Illinois until Ron Turner pulled his scholarship from him right before commitment time. Now hes coming back to Ron Turner as his Offensive Coordinator. I hope theres no negative looming feelings there.

Not really worried because Cutler named Chicago and Tennessee as his two preferred locations for a trade according to his agent and I'm sure Cutler knew Turner was OC at Chicago.

Plus, Turner did him a favor by turning him away at U of I. Illinois was horrible in Cutler's years at school so he should show up to Halas Hall with a gift basket.

He was just asked about it during the press conference and he laughed about it. No big deal there.

Couldnt agree more. I was laughing about it with a couple friends. We didnt know we had the Pro Bowl QB and we just traded him. All season long Kyle played decent, but there was still doubt amongst everyone about him being the franchis QB.

The Bears finaly make a move and people are acting like Kyle was a god...pretty funny this whole being a fan thing. People are dumb.

This is all assuming Denver uses those picks wisely - not to say they won't, but their future is far from certain.

True but it does give them the ability to get some really good players. They can fix up their defense with their first two picks, unless they go with a QB at one of them.

How am I delusional? The Chargers have gone from a 14-2 team to 12-4 and 8-8 under Turner. It's what he does, he destroys teams. I actually give the Raiders a better shot than SD this year, they looked better under Cable last year. The Chargers will be terrible next year, mark my words.

Regardless of how bad the rest of the division is, if Denver doesn't address it's DIRE needs on D they won't be a contender next season.

I kind of agree with glen. I don't think the Chargers are going to be horrible, but they'll always underachieve with Norv Turner as their head coach. So, yeah, 9-7/10-6 sounds about right to me.

I agree that we don't know how Merriman is going to look. I also agree that Cromartie didn't look good last year. They also lost Olshansky in free agency. He wasn't spectacular, but he did a lot of the dirty work to let their LB's run free.
