just a matter of which console...

im curious to see a side by side of the 2 systems. everything is smooth as silk on 360...no issues at all.

im not a graphics whore, but i was less than impressed by these graphics overall. alot of detail and good lighting and shadows....but it just looks a bit dated or grainy. Reminds me of two worlds 2 with that fog effect. It looks like there is a gorgeous landscape all around, but its clouded by blur and fog. Not alot of vibrant colors in this world (obviously) probably adds to this feeling for me.

i did come across this green and red eyed rat....which looked cool.

curious how ps3 guys feel

This is showing how huge this game is because I don't think I know where you are at all! "way of the white" doesn't ring a bell.

From the first bonfire I went right and up a bunch of stairs, through a bunch of skeletons, past a poisonous rat, and into a bunch of towers.

thats where i am right now...im waiting to go traverse thru the light, as they call it. how did you like all those hanging fuckers....lol

but the way of the white is a covenant....its in the same area as the bonfire. there is a guy standing there who basically tells you to leave him alone. if u keep talking to him he offers you miracles if u join the covenant.

i joined cause i want to be as much of a mage as possible.

i'm not that much of a nerd to give a fuck about which runs a bit better or anything, mainly interested in how many VSNers have it on what so I can invade your asses.

i still have not seen this demon. i went thru that light and i been roaming around up there. things have opened up alot in that area. found another merchant who has a couple nice low priced items. most importantly is the ability to rate and write notes

i believe the tauras demon is upstairs from the bonfire in that area. I have not gone upstairs yet. just exploring and leveling up....im up to level 8 now

I am going with 360 cause i like the controller better

here is where the frustration begins. i been going thru the same area for about 3 hours now. i start at a bonfire and travel thru about 20 various enemies and come to a knight at the bottom of these stairs....i cant kill him

the only other choice is to go back the way i came. this will take me back to the beginning of the 2nd area

Is it the Black Knight with the glowing orb thing just down the hallway from him?

I haven't beaten him. Instead of going down the stairs to that knight I've been going up to the "boss" on the bridge past the tower. Getting closer to beating him so hope is starting to shine through.


I have no clue how to beat that knight. He dominates me.

where are u going? there are the 4 guys at the bottom of the stairs. after them i see 2 choices. go downstairs to the knight...or go up and take a left and go up some more. After u take the left on the stairs is where that barrel comes down at you

then u continue up the stairs into a huge tower with a spiral staircase and a locked door at the bottom. The door is locked so that ends that idea. And the spiral staircase ends after the 2nd level where the steps are broken

sidenote....did you nab the crystal lizard? i wondered if those would be back from demons souls. those little fuckers move fast and u only get 1 shot at killing them for the loot
