I knew Dexter and Lumen would eventually fuck and go out. Although I'm not sure how realistic it is that a rape victim wants to have sex just a couple weeks after said incident.

Also I don't know why so many people are hating on Julie Styles or whatever he name is. I like her a lot.

Are you kidding? She's fucking HORRIBLE. She can't act. She tries so hard to look sad and pathetic that you can tell she is acting, and it's sad and pathetic.

Her facial expressions are annoying. She is monotonous. She overacts everything. You can't separate the character from the actor. Every time I see her I think "Julia Styles sucks ass, I hope they kill her soon," instead of, "I hope Lumen doesn't die."

She is a horrible horrible actor and she is ruining the show for me. I can't buy her for one second. Like others, this season has been average to me and it's mostly because of her. Can't stand her.

yeah, i dont get the hate at all, i was blown away by tonights episode, i didnt really see it coming. I thought maybe she would take the fall for him, or maybe they'd just get the kills and she'd leave. but this is a really interesting take, Dexter has found someone who sees him for exactly who he is, and she cares about him for it (but isnt bat shit insane like Lila). I think Julia Stiles is pulling off the rape victim really well, becoming empowered by Dexter much in the same way that he is empowered by it, and Jordan Chase for that matter. I loved how Dex saw her in killer getup and he was blown away, lol. It's almost like Lumen won one of those reality show contests where you get to be put into a jungle for a week with bear grylls and learn how to survive with him, but she gets to have revenge on her worst enemies instead of eating monkey shit

I am still very happy Rita was killed, she was a normal, co dependent cunt who couldnt tie her own shoes and a built in foil to everything. the shows entire concept is based on an artificial person learning how to be human, and the theme is being explored in a great new way this season, whereas Rita had done everything she could do.

Loved last night's episode also. And I'm kind of happy for Dexter, not gonna lie. He "loved" Rita, but he is much more capable of connecting emotionally with Lumen.

However, here is the problem...they should have been all over this throughout the whole season. Eli Stone went from junk to amazing in 30 seconds.

This season is going to go out strong, but too bad it took them 3/4 of the season to do it.

Took them a while, yes, but I love this direction now. LOL at when everyone thought the Santa Muerta storyline was going to be the main plotline. Thank god we were all wrong.

I thought about this, and compared it to last season for context.

When I see Lumen on camera, to me it does feel like I am actually watching Julia Styles the rape victim. This did not happen with John Lithgow, and I probably have slightly more exposure with him in the past as well.

This is a pic of my current setup.

And this is a pic from my old house, the setup that Virix claimed caused my 360 problems and I still say he is fucking clueless.

The only thing on top of the 360 was that whack fucking Hd-DVD player, which I think I only had hooked up for a month? I seriously watched two movies on it. King Kong (included with it) and the Superman reboot. And it was right where it was supposed to be, not blocking any vents. Get your facts straight.

As for Dexter, it kind of sucks knowing there are only two episodes left this season. I absolutely hated Lumen at first but for some reason she is starting to grow on me. I have a feeling she actually does stick around for next season. One of the reasons I say this is that I think she has been in the credits since episode one as a regular cast member, whereas Robocop has always been listed as a guest star. Which brings me to another point. I think Robocop gets diced up in the finale.
