I'm not even saying ShoSho should be the lead. But she literally had a 45 second part in the whole 28 minutes of the show. And her storyline was somewhat interesting yet we get nothing more about it afterwards.

The Jessa storyline was like watching paint dry too.

Yeah, they could have cut the Jessa scenes this week in half or more and gotten the same effect.
 
Jessa sucks, the actress who plays her is the weakest of the four leads, and yet she gets the second most screen time most weeks, because she's the irl best friend of Dunham.

Starting to see the problem with the "semi-autobiographical" story telling approach ...
 
Her story hasnt been advanced much. The only things we know is she's back from Europe, has no idea what she wants and is arrogant as fuck.

But she's hot, so who cares.

All four have plenty of unlikable qualities, but the non Hannah/marnie/jessa one is the most innocent.

According to the characters on the show maybe. Not sure many normal people find her attractive, especially not to the degree her looks are revered on the show. It's borderline creepy how much dialogue is devoted to characters talking about how gorgeous she is.

I find it to be really bizarre.

Next week looks like the culmination of a very important plot point. I tried to tell ya'll the Ray-ShoSho sparks were flying, Rudi wasn't trying to hear it. It's okay though, for this week he's going full alpha and just removing all pretext. Power move.
