Weird episode. Had a "I'm not sure if the show is going to make it to season 2 or not so let's get the whole cast involved and make crazy things happen" vibe to it. That last scene with Hannah was stupid.

They cast the most token black dude they could find. :yao: They should have did some shit like casted a stereotypical "looking" black dude to date that dilly, crack smoking chick but have a twist where they find out he is a Rhodes scholar or something along those lines. Casting Troy is typical.
 
This show is about dorky white people who think they are hip. It shouldn't have any back people in it unless the dorky white people are buying drugs or getting mugged, because dorky white fake hipsters don't encounter black people in real life except in those situations.

Shows about black people don't need to have white people, shows about white people don't need to have black people. I remember when 'Friends' faced similar backlash, and they shoe horned Aisha Tyler into the cast as a David Schwimmer love interest. LOL, ok. Like anybody in that show would ever date a black person. I mean, c'mon.
