Lan's 360 Roster Discussion Thread

You know guys, DT actually did used to get rosters out first way back in the late PS1/early PS2 days. I remember he was the only game in town for a year or two. Then others caught up with him, and he resorted to the tactics you speak of. It looks like his main thing now is selling memory cards with rosters on.

lol, you mean back when he'd release "his" rosters hours after BlackLover and they always had secret changes that BL put in as a signature of his rosters? DT has always been a hack.

I'll chime in on this DT thing...

I'm not going to defend the guy, but I'm not going to speak of things I don't know either (which I think happens a lot on forums like these - guys just repeat stuff they hear and then claim it as fact)...but anyways...

DT is currently in Asia - he is not doing rosters and is done with putting out rosters. He did say that he may work with a roster that's already completed, giving credit to the author and possibly doing some edits - but he is DONE running a site and no money will be exchanged.

I am a part of a group at Facebook in which DT provided a lengthy explanation of things. Like I said, I don't know what the truth is - only DT does. But for people here to call him names and pass things along that I'm fairly certain most of us know nothing about - well, that's simply not fair. But I do know that DT was a pioneer of this stuff years ago and he was always VERY good to me. Maybe he stole work in his later years - this I don't know. But to be fair, I thought I'd briefly share a part of what he said regarding his future in roster editing - but in his own words, he's "retired from editing rosters."

Umm... BlackLover proved that DT was stealing his rosters back on the PS2. This isn't something that popped up later on, this was when DT first started. You can believe what you want, but those of us from MM know how BL would put out rosters with little hidden changes and then DT would sell "his" rosters that mysteriously had the same small changes.

DT might have been a nice guy, the same can be said about Bernie Madoff, but both of them were hacks.

1) Not that I know of. Considering that the 360 patch has yet to come out, theres no real way of anyone having a slider set.

OS is much better then it is right now. It has way too much traffic because people are looking for rosters. I cant wait until all these rosters finally come out because the 2000+ people viewing the NCAA Football sub forum are making the site run too slow.

Oh just wait, there is a reason why all of us are here instead of OS. One day, you'll find out and we'll welcome you with open arms. We've had plenty of people jumping over here long before the release of NCAA.

Has anyone been using sliders at all? Or will be I black balled for bringing it up on this thread?

Sliders are on the backburner until the 360 patch comes out. No way to make sliders when they don't work, atm.

And don't worry about being banned here, unless you do something incredibly stupid, you will stick around and like it. We aren't like other sites that are... umm... Overly Strict.

Are you guys just using default settings so far when you play in Heisman and/or AA? I will at least turn down INT's and some of the penalties, etc....

Sliders don't work on the 360 until the patch comes out (believed to be Monday or Tuesday). Right now, they do absolutely nothing.
