Favre threw the ball 34 times a game and accounted for about 28 TDs per year. Starr threw the ball about 20 times a game and accounted for about 12 TDs per year.

Also Brett Favre played in a era where passing was the way. Which equals more attempts, which ultimately leads to more interceptions one way or another.

Bart Starr had those numbers throwing 20 times a game where Favre had those numbers throwing 30+ yards a game.

Also when your in a game long enough your ratios tend to get worse as it balances out.

Passing is the way because the league made it SOOO MUCH EASIER to pass from the late 70's on. Especially, rules changes in the 90's. Almost every rule change, and how the officials implement the rules have helped offense, scoring and PASSING. Of course passing will be the way. It's WAY easier to do in today's game.

Favre threw a league high 22 interceptions last year, and in 2007 Favre threw an interception once every 35 passes to Brady's 72.25. Oh and let's not forget Brady's 6.25 TD/INT ratio in 2007 and Favre's 1.8 TD/INT ratio in 2007.

Then again, I could just be a lame-o and divert to Brady's strong playoff performances and three rings. Not really sure what stats you are trying to use to help your argument, but it didn't help.

That and he joins Manning in the company of having an interception end his season (2006 Colts game), but at least Manning and Brady have more than one positive moment to their career in the playoffs.

Can't win them all, but in the case of Favre you hope to win at least one.

I deleted it because i didn't feel like getting into an argument about it. Even though Brady has had some unspectacular playoff performances since the 3 SBs: throwing a game sealing pick vs the Broncos, the Ravens game, surrendering the biggest comeback in CG history...he's still a lot better off than Favre is.
