Report: Marshall wants trade out of Denver

LMAO @ all the Bears fans ready to trade the house for a WR. Maybe Urlacher, he's aged, but why the guys like Briggs and Hester who are in their prime?

I think the WR position is highly overrated.

LOL at Hester "being in his prime". At what exactly? No return TD's last year and Manning can take over. Being in his prime at WR if that's what you mean? What the hell has he done to show you that? Hell all the news coming out of Bears camp about the WR's never mentions Hester.

LOL at not wanting to trade Hester for a prove WR like Marshall and holding out hope that Hester ever does a damn thing at WR in the NFL.

EDIT* Also along the lines of Hester being in his "prime" if Hester is in his prime and putting up 600 yards a year would't rather trade that "prime" for a guy in Marshall who already has back to back 1,000 yard seasons in just his 3rd year in the NFL, a Pro Bowl appearance, and is 24 years old and most likely entering his prime as well?

Are you honestly going to sit there and say you wouldn't trade Hester for Marshall?

Then why the hell dismiss the idea of trading a guy that you don't even think will be a great WR for a guy who is already seen as one of the top WR's in the NFL?

And Marshall isn't a threat? I suppose he got to the Pro Bowl by being a decoy.

As far as Marshall having back to back 1,000 yard seasons, I'd like to think that had a little something to do with the QB that was throwing to him.

Who the Bears now have on their roster............So explain to me why we wouldn't want to trade an unproven question mark in Hester for a proven thing like Marshall?

And I'll take a guy who doesn't beat on women and won't be locked up eventually any day over a guy who does and will.

So now it's a character issue. At least you have a somewhat valid point here. Maybe a change of scenery would do him good?

Brandon Marshall's agent Kennard McGuire confirmed that his client has requested a trade and says the Broncos, "will do everything in it’s power to accommodate (Marshall's) wishes."

That doesn't mean Marshall will be traded, of course, but it's interesting the Broncos are open to the possibility. Or at least say they are. The difficulty will be getting appropriate value for a Pro Bowl level talent coming off hip surgery with serious off-field concerns. We doubt Denver will get an offer they deem suitable, but the Ravens are one team that could test the waters. Jun. 16 - 1:25 pm et

I don't know if it's been posted in this thread or not but I heard on the radio that Brandon Marshall reported on his blog yesterday that the Broncos have agreed to trade him and that a deal is going to be made soon.

Profootballtalk.com passes along "rumblings" that the Browns are interested in trading for Brandon Marshall.

PFT didn't reveal the source of the rumblings, but they did say the return package would include returner Josh Cribbs and one or more draft picks. It seems like an odd pairing at first glance, but the Browns could then in turn deal Braylon Edwards.
