Great trade for the Rams, awful trade for the Skins. I love RGIII, but he won't have much to work with unless the Skins make some smart moves in free agency. RGIII will be a very good qb, but no qb can carry a team that is lacking weapons like the Skins are.
I'm not a Skins fan, but living in Skins country and having to watch this team everyday and hear sports radio host cry and complain everyday this is a good move for the Skins. They need a franchise QB that can lead and Griffin was the perfect fit. I'm happy for them and Skins fans. IMO Griffin will be great on and off the field and that is what they desperately needed. They needed a face for the franchise and they got it.

As for a RB, Helu looked good.. I wouldn't write him off yet.
Basically the Redskins really moved a 2nd this year and 2 future 1st's.. if Griffin pans out to be a franchise type of QB, thats a very cheap price to pay for a 22 year old with his skill set.

I agree but to give up that much is ridiculous in my opinion. They weren't in a position to get the franchise QB, They had to reach and give up their next 3 first round picks as well as their second this year. Like I said if he doesn't pan out. (I really hope he does) they are fucked because they won't have any real options to improve the team through the draft until 2015. Why not take a shot at Flynn and pick up a WR or improve their secondary with that pick. All I'm trying to say is this is a huge risk in my eyes.
