Lot to give up, but I think Griffin is worth it. Redskins have the cap space to add a few pieces on offense to give the young kid some weapons.

This is a good trade in my opinion, like everyone else saying, if he can get them into the
Playoffs year 2 I would bet the farm no one thinks about this trade...

You look at all the elite QBs in the league and if you had a crystal ball when they were coming out of the draft and knew how successful they would be, how much would you give up?

Plus not having to sign the 1st round picks for 2 years will also allow Washington to be more aggressive in FA.

Also, don't let the redskins be right on RG3, and also get lucky and find a superstar in rounds 2-7 in the next couple years.

i think RG3 is way over hyped. i think its a product of the media clinging to a story...waging the dog so to speak. i think rg3 has the potnetial to be a solid QB, but the guy did nothing prior to this season and played in a weak conference. he follows in a long line of guys who came from similar settings that were flops.

washington once again proves that they know nothing about buildng a team. their owner continues to give way more than he gets. In the past he has thrown money at free agents who did nada for the skins and now he is throwing picks to get a player that is not a top 5 pick

this saves the browns from making the mistake of trading up to get RG3 and will allow them to give mccoy another year to show if he has what it takes. draft blackmon and give him someone to throw to

I don't think rg3 is overhyped at all, the big 12 wasn't a joke last year, and he was on a Baylor team with one other decent player taking down teams with much greater talent...

I mean what would he have had to do to warrant the #2 pick? Take his awful Baylor team and win the title? I mean there are plenty of great QBs that never won the championship in college...

He went for 4200+, 72.4 %, 6 to 1 TD/INT?..

I honestly think you don't like him because he is a "mobile" black QBs... Not saying there is anything wrong with that, we've been conditioned to believe they will fail in the NFL. But then again, sometimes they don't...

This is a very dumb move. Yes your going to have RG3 but it halts your building process by giving up those draft picks.

You could still get Ryan Tannehill, Brandon Weeden or another and build around that. RG3 has no weapons.

RG3 is a pass first quarterback. Look at what Cam Newton did last year. I expected him to be a bust but he threw great and when he gets running he's a horse.
