Machida hasnt faced any top grapplers yet at his own weight, best 1 he has fought is tito and tito's back has not been the same for a log time

He has faced a bunch of guys who like to stand and bang and has beat them, if he can take out Shogun I will be impressed, but I think Shogun will win if they ever meet

Machida was put on his back by a fat BJ, of course he has gotten better at takedown defense, but the majority of guys he has fought wanted to strike with him

Fedor has beaten Top Strikers, Wrestlers, Submission guys etc...

Fedor has beaten one guy with excellent boxing skill, AA, and I wouldn't put money on him to do it again.

I don't want to hear about 5-5 Mark Hunt, powerful guy, but not a great boxer.

Mirko, super powerful, great K-1 kickboxer, but again not a great nor technical boxer either.

So, who are these great boxers that Fedor has beaten?

First of all, there isnt really any great boxers in MMA, AA is probably 1 of the best and Fedor beat him with 1 punch

Hunt is a K1 winner, he is a great Kickboxer just like Mirko

Where are these great boxers Silva and Machida beat? None of there wins are better boxers than AA or Cro Cop in terms of strikers, I said great 'strikers', not boxers because there are not really great boxers in MMA

None of the strikers Silva or Machida beat are on the level of AA, Cro Cop, Hunt, Semmy or even Big Tim

GSP has beaten better comp than Silva ever has, Silva's best wins are Franklin and he was a TV champ in the worst division at the time and has no big wins, Hendo has never done well at 185 and Nate, thats Silva's 'big' wins

You can not argue against the comp GSP has faced, GSP has only 2 losses in his career and has revenged both of them in brutal fashion

The win over Hughes is better than anything Silva has ever done, throw in Fitch, Kos, BJ X 2, Sherk, etc...and you have no arguement

look at his record at 185, prides 180 class was weak and he has not been great at that weight, some crappy decision wins and so-so comp

Dan is more remembered in pride for battling the Nogs and Wand at higher weights

Thats Georges fault? BJ obviously talked a big game.. but Georges completely worked him. Your discrediting how young Georges is and how much he improves from fight to fight.. Serra was a small glitch, but for the most part GSP has come with great game plans to improve his mistakes and is probably the most well rounded fighter in MMA today.
