Moss was doing fine in NE, until Bill got fed up, wrote him out of the gameplan against Miami, and decided they weren't bringing him back.
Moss clearly doesn't give a fuck at this point, but we all knew he was a prick who was well overdue for a meltdown.
Jackson tops out lower than Moss and brings the same type of issues. The fact SD doesn't miss a beat offensively without him tells the story.
The Patriots are 5-1 since trading Moss away. Moss' impact with the Vikings was minimal; hence the purpose of him being released. The Vikings released Moss for far greater issues than what he said to a caterer and up until this point Moss has 1 reception in 2 games with Tennessee. Yet, the excuse is Fisher doesn't know how to use him. Maybe if his skillset went deeper than being able to run one or two routes he'd have more catches.
Obviously, Moss isn't producing like he was the last 2 seasons but given the fact that he's played on 3 different teams so far might have something to do with it along with his shitty attitude.
LOL, he's played on 3 different teams, becuase he no longer cares and doesn't produce. You can't put the cart before the horse. If Moss produces and has that much value he wouldn't be on his 3rd head coach this year.

I’m not sure why Moss has always gotten a pass for his lackluster apathetic play, but he always seems to. He’s always given excuses for his apathetic play like, “Oh he’s not producing , because he’s being double teamed,” as if elite WRs don’t beat double teams. Another excuse is when he’s trotting around the field short-arming passes or not blocking the excuse is, “well the ball wasn’t being thrown his way,” as if WR aren't supposed to block or at least in presnap pretend to be a threat on what looks like a designed run play. We also always here the “well his presence opens the field for others,” which in some cases is true, but I don’t think that sort of fact is exclusive to Moss alone, as most elite WR are double teamed and still produce. The fact is Moss is a slacker and always has been, but now his talent isn’t there to cover for him. Moss has been living off of his reputation, when I don’t think the talent or desire are there any longer plain and simple.
Moss is by far a better talent and will have the better career than Jackson, but right now I’d still take Jackson, because at least we know he’s going to produce every week. Jackson surely benefits from playing with Rivers, but the fact remains he still produces and plays with effort, which is what matters and something Moss has failed to do. I can name 10-15 WRs I'd take over Moss easily and I'm sure the both of you could as well.
