This is such a stupid statement I have to groan it. Comparing percentages of passes completed to a WR from a QB is fucking retarded. Means absolutely nothing, don't even know why you are bringing up more useless numbers from that dumb shit website full of nerds analyzing the most meaningless of stats.
Players don't just go to shit in 1 season. Moss isn't motivated, has played in 3 different systems with 5 different quarterbacks, his production isn't going to be the same under those circumstances. You sound exactly like all the TO haters that were talking shit about him last season in Buffalo.
We've already been through this, and like I said, comparing a player who hasn't played a single game and a player who has been on 3 teams in 10 weeks is stupid.
How is that retarded? I also didn't use that website... I simply took Jackson's receptions and divided by Rivers completions total and same for Moss and Brady. How is that not a better measure than total catches? If Brady throws 100 more passes, guess who's gonna catch more passes?... Moss will. Simply saying, 'Well Moss has 83 catches while Jackson has 68... Moss must be better'. Think a little.
Lol, if he can't get motivated playing in a contract year, playing for a team that just traded for him to go back to his hometown, playing for a 5-3 football team at the top of their division. When will he be motivated?
How exactly is Moss' situation and Owens' similar at all? T.O. was playing well he just didn't have any QB, any offensive line to protect said QB, and didn't play in an offensive system that could do any sort of decent job to mask those weaknesses. Weird how he played better when Fitzpatrick came in, a QB who can move the ball downfield and move around to buy more time and escape the rush. I have always believed Owens can play because he's never showed me a reason to believe he can't unlike Moss. Moss has shown me plenty of reason to believe that he's no good anymore.
This didn't originally start comparing like that. Someone was questioning whether the Patriots might trade for Vincent Jackson, I replied by saying I didn't think it would happen even though I think Jackson is easily better. Now I believe that was 2-3-4 weeks into the season or something like that.
Moss didn't have a great impact for games 10-16 last season. He didn't play as well as he did in games 1-9. Now Jackson also had a similar dip but he actually came back and had a some good games again.

Now the "Vincent Jackson is no good because the Chargers have been fine without him." Well guess what, 35 points and no Antonio Gates later the Chargers offense is still rolling with probably the best receiving TE in the game on the sideline. The Chargers have been great with guys missing for the most of this season.

Vincent Jackson aside, you thought Moss was top 10 and he hasn't played well enough to be top 32 this season. I was obviously right about something. I mean, after Moss had 1 catch in 2 weeks this thread was made. Is that a coincidence? Now how well Jackson will play when he gets back is up in the air but Moss has even exceded my expectations for how bad he'll play the rest of the season. Truly remarkable how much one player can live off of reputation and have so much people will defend the player to the end.
