The coaches & brass won't appeal, because i'm sure their lawyers have informed them it would be a waste of time, because the NFL has an overwhelming pile of evidence that would be impossible to overcome in court.

The players, remember, won based on a CBA loophole. Not based on a lack of evidence or any pardon from wrongdoing. The commissioner can find another reason, within the CBA bylaws, to suspend these players, but for some ridiculous reason he does not have the power to suspend players on the basis of monetary exchanges, which is mental. There is talk Goodell will simply suspend these players again, with different verbiage that fits into the CBA framework. I hope he does it, because in the end, you can't let these players walk all over the league.

I'm still waiting for someone to answer my question. If the league commissioner does not have that power, then who does? Surly the NFLPA won't be going after players for monetary exchanges that are against the CBA. Who does? Who will? Until someone can give me a good answer to this, I am just stunned.
